To make it easier for you to understand certain sections we'd like to highlight the following:
-
How we settle and when we will void bets. The Sportsbook General Rules and Specific Sports Rules contain information about how bets will be settled and when they will be void. The rules vary according to the market, so please ensure to read all relevant rules carefully before you place a bet.
-
When the amount you can win is limited. There are limits on the amounts you can wager and win on the Sportsbook. Please read the Maximum Payouts section below, which explains these in detail.
-
When we will void bets and adjust winnings for Errors on the Sportsbook. Part B Section 10 of the General Terms explains the general rules about what will happen if an 'Error', 'Malfunction', or 'Interruption' happens to the Services or Software while you are using them. Examples of Errors that could occur on the Sportsbook, and the actions that we will take in relation to them are explained in detail in the Errors related to the Sportsbook section below.
-
We will void bets and recover or not pay out winnings if we determine you have been involved in 'suspicious betting'. Part B Section 14 of the General Terms explains the general rules about Prohibited Events, Part B Section 17 of the General Terms explains when we will restrict, suspend or close your Account for Prohibited Events, and Part A Section 11 of the General Terms explains when we will void transactions and recover or not pay out winnings if we discover that you have engaged in any Prohibited Event. For the purposes of the Sportsbook Rules, it is a Prohibited Event if you take part in 'suspicious betting'. We explain what suspicious betting is, and the specific actions we will take if we discover you have taken part in it, in the Suspicious Betting section below. In particular, we will void bets, and recover or not pay out winnings, if we determine you have taken part in suspicious betting.
-
When we are not responsible for information provided on the Sportsbook. Some information in the Sportsbook, such as sports data feeds, are provided by third parties. We have no control over these data and are not responsible for any inaccuracies in them. Similarly, as set out in Part A Section 24 of the General Terms, we do not guarantee that the Services -- including the Sportsbook -- will be free from Errors, Malfunctions or Interruptions. Please see the Third Party Feeds and Score Displays and Reliance on Information sections below for more information about this.
- Bet Acceptance
1.1. We are under no obligation to accept any bets on the Sportsbook. We will refuse to accept any bet where we discover or have reason to believe there is a case of suspicious betting and/or we have any betting integrity concerns, or otherwise to comply with applicable law. Also, we will offer reduced stakes in cases where unforeseen market events require adjustments, due to Errors on the Sportsbook, or if you have previously abused or taken advantage of any such Errors. If we offer reduced stakes for a particular event or market, we will inform you before you place your bet.
1.2. A bet is not accepted until it has been validated by us and shows in the User's bet history (under the heading 'My Bets'). If you are unsure about the validity of a bet, please check the open (pending) bets section on the Website or contact support.
1.3. Unless accepted in Error, and subject to any relevant rules set out elsewhere in these Sportsbook General Rules, once accepted by us, a bet will remain valid and cannot be cancelled by you or us. It is each User's responsibility to ensure details of the bets placed are correct. Part B Section 10 of the General Terms and the Errors related to the Sportsbook section below explain what will happen if a bet is accepted in Error.
1.4. Should a dispute arise about the acceptance (or lack of acceptance) of any transaction in your Account, the transaction log on our servers or in our databases will determine the matter.
- Results and Market Settlement
General Rules About Settlement
2.1. If the Specific Sports Rules do not specify how and on what basis a market will be settled, markets will be settled based on the official result of the relevant governing body regardless of any subsequent disqualification or amendment to the result. The exception to this is if an amendment is announced by the relevant data source within 24 hours of the initial settlement to correct an Error made by them in reporting the result, in which case we will resettle the bets as appropriate.
2.2. If no official result of a relevant governing body is available, we will determine the result (acting reasonably) using information from independent sources. In such cases, if any new information relating to the result comes into the public domain within 48 hours of settlement, then we will (acting reasonably) either:
(a) settle or resettle the market in light of this new information; or
(b) wait for further information before deciding whether to settle or resettle the market (for example, if a governing body has announced that it intends to undertake a review or investigation before declaring the official result).
2.3. Except where we have announced that we are waiting for further information before deciding whether to settle or resettle the market, any information that comes into the public domain more than 48 hours after a market has been settled will not be considered (regardless of whether or not such information may have led to a different result).
2.4. If there is any uncertainty about any result or potential result, we will suspend settlement of any related market for an unlimited period until the uncertainty can be resolved to our reasonable satisfaction. We will void any such market if the uncertainty regarding settlement cannot be resolved to our reasonable satisfaction.
Resettlements
2.5. Bets are usually settled shortly after the end of the relevant event, however, the payment of winnings following settlement may take up to 120 minutes from the end of the relevant event. We may settle (or part-settle) some bets before the official result is declared (or may increase a User's available balance by the minimum potential winnings of that User on a given bet) purely as a customer service benefit.
2.6. We will resettle a bet if:
(a) the official result is different to the result on which we initially settled the bet; or
(b) the whole market is eventually voided.
2.7. Resettling a bet may lead to amendments being made to the balance of your Account to reflect the changes in bet settlement. If your Account is credited with winnings that you would not have received after the resettlement, we will void the relevant transaction and withhold the relevant winnings. If you have withdrawn any such winnings prior to the resettlement, you will be required to pay the winnings back to us on our request. Any failure to comply with our request to pay back winnings under this clause will result in a breach of the General Terms and, therefore, we will open a process to investigate the breach, including the possibility of suspending or terminating your Account, in accordance with applicable law.
Non-Runners, Withdrawals and Disqualifications
2.8. A 'non-runner' is a selection that is named but does not participate in the specified event.
2.9. Unless otherwise stated in the Specific Sports Rules or elsewhere on the Website, sports bets are accepted on a 'non-runner, no bet' basis. This means that bets on a competitor that is withdrawn prior to the start of an event or does not enter the field of play during the event will be void. We will, where appropriate, apply a Non-Runner Deduction to any winnings from bets on the event's remaining participants.
2.10. The above may apply to selections in Outright markets as well as Proposition markets concerning individual competitors, including markets such as 'goalscorer', 'point scorer', 'runs', 'tryscorer' and 'touchdown scorer' (as available on the Website from time to time). It may also apply to selections included in #OddsOnThat an enhanced odds offer.
2.11. Where specified, certain markets will be offered on an 'all in compete or not' basis. This means that, if a competitor is withdrawn from an event (whether by it pulling out of the event, being suspended or disqualified from the event, or otherwise) before it has taken part in the event, then any bet placed on that competitor will be deemed a losing bet.
2.12. If a competitor participating in an event (once it has officially started) fails to complete that event for any reason, any bet placed on that team or competitor will stand (meaning bets on that competitor will not be void).
- Selections Not Offered
3.1. We use reasonable efforts to ensure that potential winning selections for each market are always offered on the Website, however, we do not guarantee that every possible outcome for each market will be offered. If the outcome which ultimately wins is unavailable to you as a selection for any reason (for example, because it is a dynamic market where competitors might enter or leave before the event starts, so we have chosen not to offer it), bets on other selections in the applicable market will stand and will be settled in accordance with the applicable Sportsbook Rules.
3.2. If a match or period of a match ends in a draw and we did not offer a 'draw' selection, then affected bets will be void.
- Late Bets
4.1. Bets are accepted up to the 'off' time of the event or a pre-determined time, whichever is earlier.
4.2. Bets placed after the betting has closed or after the final event result or outcome is known will be void.
4.3. Should there be a dispute over the 'off' time of an event or market where an official start time is not given by that sport's governing body, then the time that we (acting reasonably) determine the event to have started will govern the settlement of all bets.
- Cash Out
5.1. 'Cash Out' is a feature that is offered on various betting markets. Cash Out allows you to close your original bet early, at your request, locking in either a profit or a loss by settling all or a portion of your bet before the event finishes, giving you a fraction of the potential winnings of your original bet.
5.2. We will provide you the amount of the Cash Out prior to any cash out request by you, which amount will be shown on or around the Cash Out button.
5.3. Your request to Cash Out is not guaranteed to be accepted and may be unsuccessful if, for example, the market is suspended or the odds change before your request has been processed (for instance, if you place a bet on a team to score the next goal and a penalty is awarded to a particular team).
5.4. If your Cash Out request is successful, a 'success' message will be shown, your bet (or the relevant portion of your bet) will be settled immediately and any winnings will be returned to your Account equal to the amount shown on the Cash Out button. Note that this includes the original stake (or portion of your stake), and the total amount returned to your Account will be the amount shown on the Cash Out button. For a full Cash Out, the bet is settled, and any subsequent events will have no impact on the amount returned to your Account. For a partial Cash Out, part of your bet is settled, and any subsequent events will only impact on the portion of your bet which you have not Cashed Out.
5.5. If your Cash Out request is unsuccessful, a message will be shown which gives the reason why and a new Cash Out offer may be offered to you.
5.6. Cash Out requests made In-Play may take longer to process because of the In-Play bet delay.
5.7. In-Play betting rules apply on all In-Play bets where Cash Out is available.
5.8. Using Cash Out may mean you will opt out of and no longer be eligible for certain offers. See the terms and conditions of the relevant offer for details.
5.9. If you place a bet using a free bet or an equivalent promotional credit, Cash Out will be unavailable until the value of your Cash Out is higher than the value of your free bet or promotional credit.
- Abandonments, Cancellations and Postponements
6.1. If there are no rules about abandonment, cancellation and/or postponement in any applicable Specific Sports Rules for a particular market, then the following rules will apply.
6.2. In relation to any match, fixture, game, individual event, race or similar: If the event is not completed within 72 hours after the originally scheduled completion date, then all bets on markets for this event will be void, except for bets on any markets that have been unconditionally determined.
6.3. In relation to any tournament, competition or similar: If the event is not completed within 24 hours following the scheduled completion date of the event, then any bets relating to the event will be settled in accordance with the official ruling of the relevant governing body, providing such a decision is given within 90 days after the scheduled completion date. If no official ruling is announced in this 90-day period, then bets on any market relating to this event will be void, except for bets on any markets which have been unconditionally determined. If a market has been part-settled during the 90-day period as a courtesy to Users, we may resettle such part-settled bets at the end of this period, provided we will not give Users a less favourable outcome on their bets as a result of the resettlement.
6.4. If there is no further sporting action in any market that does not contain the selection 'draw' or 'tie', all bets placed after this conclusion of action will be void.
6.5. We will decide (acting reasonably) whether a market relates to a match (or similar) or a tournament (or similar). However, by way of example, the following will apply to the following markets (as may be available on the Website from time to time):
-
Europa League Outright = tournament;
-
Champions League group Outright = tournament;
-
Top Premier League goalscorer = tournament;
-
Tennis Tournament Outright = tournament; and
-
Motor race (for example, Grand Prix) = match.
- Change of Venue
7.1. For any team sport: if the scheduled venue is changed after a bet is placed, all bets will be void only if the new venue is a home ground of the original away team (or in the case of international matches, only if the venue changes to a venue in a different country).
7.2. For all categories or markets other than team sports: if the scheduled venue is changed after a bet is placed, all bets will stand.
7.3. If there is a change in the type of scheduled surface (for example, a hockey match switching from real grass to artificial turf) after a bet is placed, all bets will stand.
- Periods of Time
8.1. If the scheduled duration of an event is changed after a bet is placed, but before the start of the event, then all bets on the event will be void.
8.2. Some markets refer to the length of time until an occurrence in the event (for example, time of first goal). If an occurrence happens in stoppage or injury time after any regular time period, then it will be deemed to have occurred at the end of the regular time period. For example, if a goal is scored in first half stoppage time in a football match, it will be deemed to have occurred on 45 minutes.
8.3. All bets apply to the relevant full 'regular time' period, including stoppage time. Any extra time and/or penalty shoot-out is not included.
8.4. Any reference in the Sportsbook Rules to a particular number of 'days' means the end of the day local time after the expiry of the specified number of days. For example, if a football match is scheduled for December 1, then a rule that allows the match to be completed within 3 days after the scheduled completion date would mean that the deadline for completion of that match would be 23.59:59 on December 4.
- Time zones
All references to time periods in the Sportsbook Rules relate to the time zone in which the event takes place. For example, a reference to the start time of a football match relates to the local kick-off time.
- Competitors With the Same Name; Competition Names
10.1. The name or heading of a competition determines what a bet refers to. For example, if you place a bet on 'Italy-Brazil' under the competition name or heading 'Women's World Cup', the bet will apply to the match between Italy and Brazil, which is part of the Women's World Cup.
- Cup/Trophy Competitions
Unless otherwise stated on the Website for a particular event or market, we will settle Outright bets on the competitor that lifts the cup/trophy.
- Injuries
12.1. If any injury news is announced in a market where the number of matches or odds of runners remaining can significantly affect the odds, for example, in 'top goalscorer' or 'top runscorer' markets (as available on the Website from time to time), we will as appropriate either void bets, apply a non-runner deduction, or resettle bets to the next odds offered after the market has been revised due to that injury news.
12.2. This could apply to bets placed between the release of the injury news and the revision of the market in question.
- Dead Heats
13.1. 'Dead Heat' is a term that describes when there is a tie between 2 or more selections in an event.
13.2. The 'Dead Heat rules' are that, if a Dead Heat between 2 selections is declared on any event, then half the stake is applied to the selection at full odds, and the other half is lost. If more than 2 Dead Heats are declared, the stake is proportioned accordingly.
13.3. Unless otherwise stated in the Specific Sports Rules, Dead Heat rules will apply to bets on a market where there are more winners than expected.
- Handicap Markets
14.1. Unless otherwise stated in any applicable Sports Specific Rules, these markets are determined by adjusting the score of the selected team by the applicable handicap which is offered in respect of that team (this is the 'Handicap', also called the 'Spread'). For example, if team A +10 is selected, 10 points will, for settlement purposes, be added to the score of team A. Where the draw is selected in a Handicap market, the relevant bet will be determined by adjusting the home team's score by the applicable Handicap (for example, if draw - 6 is offered, 6 points will, for settlement purposes, be deducted from the home team's final score and if following such deduction, both teams' scores are the same, the bet will be settled as a winning bet).
14.2. Where only Handicap betting is available, the bet will be settled as a Handicap bet, whether selected or not.
- To Qualify Markets
'To qualify' markets (for example, 'to reach the final') will be determined by the team or competitor that progresses, whether or not they take part in the next round or event for which they have qualified. Bets will be settled after the qualifying stage, and any subsequent disqualification or amendment to the result will not count.
- Push Markets
A 'push' describes the result of a bet for which there's no winner or loser as between a User and the Sportsbook. If the result is a push, then the bet is void. The following markets can result in a push:
(a) Handicap/Spread/run line/points line markets: if by adding the Handicap number to the relevant team's score, the accumulated result becomes a draw, then it's a push, and relevant bets will be void if no Handicap Draw is offered; and
(b) Total points/goals markets: when the betting line matches the exact outcome, that is if the total points line bet on is exactly the same as the points total for the relevant player or team in the specified event or period, then the bet is a push and will be void.
- Multiple Bets
17.1. A 'multiple bet' (also called an 'accumulator') is one bet made up of multiple legs. Each 'leg' is a selection in an individual event market.
17.2. All multiple bets placed are subject to the Sportsbook Rules applicable to each individual market comprising the legs.
17.3. If any selection in any leg is a non-runner or otherwise void under the applicable Sportsbook Rules (for example, due to an abandoned match), then all bets on that individual leg will be void, and the multiple bet will be adjusted accordingly. For example, a treble including one void leg will become a double. If that void leg means that an individual bet within a multiple bet becomes a single bet, then this single bet will stand.
17.4. Multiple bets combining different selections within the same event will not be accepted when there are related contingencies, unless those selections are chosen through our Bet Builder feature. The rejection of related contingency bets may happen automatically at the bet placement stage.
17.5. Each way and win only markets cannot be combined as part of a multiple bet.
- System Bets
18.1. A 'system bet' is a form of multiple bet that combines multiple bet selections made up of singles and multiples (including triples, fourfolds, fivefolds and so on), providing Users the opportunity to bet on multiple outcomes and win on individual selections, regardless of whether all selections are winners. The number of selections available on a system bet depend on the type of bet offered.
18.2. For example, a 'lucky 15' consists of 4 selections and offers a total of 15 separate bets (4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 triples and 1 fourfold) on a single stake. If 4 selections of a Lucky 15 bet were winners, then each single bet and every variation of multiple bet within the Lucky 15 would also be winners, meaning the User would have a total of 15 winning bets. However, if only 2 selections were winners, then the User would only have a total of 3 winnings bets (2 singles and 1 double).
- Bet Builder
19.1. 'Bet Builder' is a feature on our Website which allows you to construct your own bet, using our tools, by combining related bets within a single event.
19.2. When selecting legs to add to your Bet Builder, you will see that the individual selections added are displayed with individual odds. However, these odds are for customer information only and are not used to form the final Bet Builder payout presented on the betslip. This is because the bets have related contingencies and so the Bet Builder final payout is calculated differently to a simple multiple/accumulator bet (with a Bet Builder bet the odds are not multiplied).
19.3. If any selection in any leg of a Bet Builder bet is a Non-Runner or otherwise void under the applicable Sportsbook Rules (for example a chosen goalscorer does not take part in a match), then all bets on that individual leg will be void, and the Bet Builder bet payout will be recalculated accordingly. Any remaining legs will stand.
- #OddsOnThat
20.1. '#OddsOnThat' is a feature on our Website that allows you to place certain tailored bets on certain events.
20.2. If any competitor who is part of a #OddsOnThat bet does not take any part in the relevant event, then the entire bet will be void.
20.3. Where an #OddsOnThat bet combines related bets within a single event:
(a) if any selection in any leg of the #OddsOnThat bet is a Non-Runner or the leg is otherwise void under the applicable Sportsbook Rules (for example a chosen goalscorer does not take part in a match), then all bets on that #OddsOnThat will be void; and
(b) all legs making up the bet must win for the bet to be settled as a winning bet. Otherwise, the entire bet will be settled as a losing bet.
20.4. In addition to the specific rules about #OddsOnThat set out above and elsewhere in the Sportsbook Rules, all other settlement rules in the Sportsbook Rules apply to the settlement of bets placed via #OddsOnThat (unless they contradict or conflict with the #OddsOnThat specific rules, in which case, the #OddsOnThat specific rules will take precedence).
- Edge
21.1. 'Acca Edge' applies to Sportsbook (fixed odds) accumulator bets only.
21.2. Not available for each-way accumulators, SP accumulators, bets placed with free bet tokens or permutation multiples (Yankee, Lucky 15 etc.)
21.3. Not available for each-way accumulators, SP accumulators, bets placed with free bet tokens or permutation multiples (Yankee, Lucky 15 etc.)
21.4. Stakes are returned as cash.
21.5. Acca Edge must be ticked at the time of bet placement and you must receive confirmation from Betfair that it has been "applied".
21.6. You acknowledge that the odds with Acca Edge may be different from the odds of the bet without Acca Edge.
21.7. Acca Edge will become void if any leg is settled void or any leg is subject to a Dead Heat reduction. In such circumstances the bet will revert to a normal accumulator bet without the Acca Edge and be priced based on the original leg prices taken at bet placement.
21.8. Bets placed with Acca Edge are available for Cash Out, however any Cash Out (partial or full) will render Acca Edge void.
21.9. We may suspend or disable the Acca Edge feature at any time.
21.10. 'Each Way Edge' applies to Sportsbook (fixed odds) Each Way singles only on selected (determined by us) Horse Races.
21.11. Not available for multiples or SP singles.
21.12. At the time of placement the odds and place terms must be updated in the betslip, highlighted in yellow, and the Each Way Edge applied message in view. Successful placement of the bet with Each Way Edge applied will be included in the bet receipt.
21.13. Acca Edge only applies if one leg lets you down.
21.14. You acknowledge that the odds and place terms with Each Way Edge applied vary from the odds of the bet without Each Way Edge.
21.15. Bets placed with Each Way Edge are eligible for Cash Out if the Cash Out icon is shown, subject to the standard Cash Out terms.
21.16. If the number of non-runners results in a change in the standard each way terms, then the terms of the Each Way Edge bet will also be altered to reflect this. In summary: An EW Edge bet is an offset to normal EW terms, so if the EW terms on the market change after a withdrawal, the EW Edge terms can change too. E.g. if there is a market with 3 places @ 1/5 and EW Edge is used to take 4 places. If the market changes to 2 places @ 1/4 after a withdrawal, the EW Edge bet has terms of 3 places @ ¼. If the market place fraction changes (e.g. market changes from 3 @ 1/4 to 3 @ 1/5) then the fraction changes for EW Edge bets too. If an EW Edge bet reverts to Win only (e.g. -1 offset on a 3 place market when the market changes to 2 places), the price after EW Edge will still be honoured (but with rule4s applied if relevant). If the market drops to Win only, positive EW Edges are still EW bets.
21.17. Bets placed with Each Way Edge applied are not eligible for Best Odds Guaranteed.
21.18. We may suspend or disable the Each Way Edge feature at any time.
- In-Play Betting
22.1. 'In-Play' is betting that takes place after an event has started and up to its conclusion.
22.2. A 'pre-event market' is a market that we do not intend to offer after an event starts or for the duration of an event. A pre-event market may or may not be turned In-Play.
22.3. If a pre-event market is not scheduled to be turned In-Play, and we fail to suspend the market at the time the event starts, then:
(a) if the event has a scheduled 'off' time, all bets placed after that scheduled 'off' time will be void; and
(b) if the event does not have a scheduled 'off' time, we will use reasonable efforts to ascertain the time of the actual 'off', and all bets after the time of the 'off' determined by us (acting reasonably) will be void.
22.4. We will use reasonable efforts to suspend pre-event markets that are scheduled to be turned In-Play at the start of and for the duration of the event. However, we do not guarantee that such markets will be suspended at the relevant time.
22.5. In relation to pre-event markets which are scheduled to be turned In-Play:
(a) we will use reasonable efforts to turn such markets In-Play at the time of the 'off' and to suspend such markets on the occurrence of a significant occurrence (such as a goal/point being scored). However, we do not guarantee that such markets will be suspended and turned In-Play at the time of the 'off'.
(b) if we fail to suspend the market at the time of the 'off' and the market is not turned In-Play at any time during the event, all bets after the scheduled time of the 'off' will be void unless it can be established that the bet was placed before the official 'off' time or the actual time of the 'off'. If the event does not have a scheduled 'off' time, we will use reasonable efforts to ascertain the time of the actual 'off', and all bets after the time of the 'off' determined by us (acting reasonably) will be void; and
(c) if we fail to suspend the market at the time of the 'off', but the market is turned In-Play at a later time during the event, all bets placed after the time of the 'off' will stand. However, we will where appropriate adjust the odds in order to settle the bets in accordance with the correct odds at the time on which the relevant bet was placed (such odds to be determined by us, acting reasonably).
22.6. We will where appropriate part-suspend or fully suspend outcomes/selections in a Sportsbook market that has been turned In-Play (for example, if a significant occurrence happens during the event, such as a goal or point being scored).
22.7. If we accept a bet on an In-Play market for which the outcome has already been determined, then that bet will be void.
22.8. For the purposes of In-Play betting, you should be aware that transmissions described as 'live' by some broadcasters may actually be delayed or pre-recorded. The extent of any delay may vary depending on the setup through which you receive pictures or data. Please also be aware that, for operational reasons, bet requests made In-Play may take slightly longer to process.
22.9. Users are responsible for managing their In-Play bets at all times.
- Enhanced Odds
23.1. Any bets for which we offer enhanced odds will be settled on the basis of normal time and stoppage time (that is to say, excluding any extra time, penalty shoot-outs or similar) unless otherwise specified in the relevant bet or bet rules.
23.2. Unless otherwise stated on the Website, bets for which enhanced odds are offered will be governed by the settlement rules as set out in the Sportsbook Rules.
23.3. For enhanced odds bets that include multiple individual competitors, if one or more individual competitors listed do not take part, we will settle the bet based on the odds of the remaining individual competitors.
23.4. For enhanced odds bets that include multiple matches, if one or more matches do not take place, we will settle the bet based on the odds of the remaining matches.
- Maximum Payouts
24.1. Bets placed on the Sportsbook are limited to a maximum payout of 4 million BRL per bet. This maximum payout limit applies to both single bets and multiples bets.
24.2. If you attempt to submit a bet using a wager for which the bet's odds would return winnings exceeding the maximum payout limit, the bet will be rejected.
- Suspicious Betting
25.1. Prohibited Events' are certain events and practices that are not allowed in relation to the Services or Software.
25.2. It is a Prohibited Event if you take part in 'suspicious betting', as -- amongst other things -- it is a form of Unacceptable Conduct. Suspicious betting is when we discover or have reason to believe that a single or number of bets have been placed in suspicious circumstances. Suspicious circumstances include:
(a) where there is an excessive frequency and/or highly unusual pattern of bets (when compared with betting norms) placed on the same selection(s) in a short space of time;
(b) where there is an excessive frequency and/or highly unusual pattern of bets placed on the same selection(s) and where the theoretical probability of said selection(s) winning at the time of bet(s) placement, based on the odds offered at the time of bet placement, is largely inconsistent with the theoretical probability of the same selection(s) winning calculated using their starting prices;
(c) where the integrity of one or more events has been called into question, including where one (or more) of the participants in an event displays exceptional form which we discover or have reason to believe was known to you, or someone connected to you, at the time you placed the bet, and that information was concealed from the public generally in order to gain an unfair advantage in any bets placed on that event(s);
(d) where we discover or have reason to believe that a bet or a string of connected bets were not placed by you physically, but robotically or by automated means (which are Prohibited Tools and Services), or otherwise than by you placing each bet manually via your Account;
(e) where we discover or have reason to believe you have used unfair external factors or influences connected with the event(s) which are the subject of any bet(s);
(f) where we discover or have reason to believe that you have opened one or more Duplicate Accounts, or that second or subsequent Accounts are under common control with your Account, with a view to concealing the true worth, nature or pattern of bets placed by you or on your behalf. This applies even if the other Accounts are opened under different names;
(g) where we discover or have reason to believe that you are acting in connection with others, or that you are acting other than on your own behalf; and
(h) where we discover or have reason to believe that bets have been placed from a location or device other than the location or device which you claim to have used to place a bet.
25.3. As set out in the General Terms, you must reasonably assist us with any investigation into Prohibited Events (including by providing any information we reasonably request). For example, where we suspect that any bet(s) may have been placed robotically or by automated means, we may require you to provide reasonable evidence that each bet was placed manually by you via your Account.
25.4. Part B Section 17 of the General Terms explains when we will restrict, suspend or close your Account for Prohibited Events, and Part A Section 11 of the General Terms explains when we will void transactions and recover or not pay out winnings if we discover that you have engaged in any Prohibited Event.
25.5. We take proactive measures to detect, investigate and prevent suspicious betting and other Prohibited Events on the Sportsbook, using a variety of tools and methodologies.
- International Betting Integrity Association
26.1. We are a member of the International Betting Integrity Association ('IBIA'), a non-profit making organisation that monitors irregular betting patterns and possible instances of event manipulation. As part of that membership, we are a full participant in its early warning system which is geared towards identifying any suspicious betting behaviour.
26.2. If we receive a warning from IBIA we will:
(a) suspend the offering of the relevant event or series of events in any of its markets; and
(b) delay payment on any event or series of events in any of its markets,
26.3. until the integrity of such event or series of events has been confirmed by the relevant sports federation via IBIA.
26.4. If active event manipulation is confirmed as having taken place on any event or series of events by IBIA, then, acting in conjunction with the appropriate sports governing bodies, we will void or otherwise settle in accordance with IBIA guidance any bets placed on such events by any individual identified by IBIA as having possessed insider betting knowledge or information and/or by any other individual who in our reasonable opinion is connected to, acting in conjunction with or in any way involved with such individual.
- Errors on the Sportsbook
27.1. Part B Section 9 of the General Terms explains what will happen if an 'Error', 'Malfunction', or 'Interruption' happens to the Services or Software while you are using them.
27.2. Examples of Errors that could occur in connection with the Sportsbook include:
(a) technical issues, such as bets being accepted during technical problems when they would otherwise not have been accepted;
(b) the presence of incorrect information, for example, bets on markets and events containing incorrect participants;
(c) bets being offered at odds that reflect an incorrect score;
(d) bets being offered for already determined outcomes; and
(e) incorrect settlement, being where bets were settled incorrectly (for example on the wrong result).
27.3. In addition to the actions described in Part B Section 9 of the General Terms, we will take the following actions if any of the following Errors occur in connection with the Sportsbook:
27.4. Bet odds/terms. If, as a result of an Error, a bet on the Sportsbook is accepted that is at odds and/or is on terms that are either:
(a) significantly different from those available in the general betting market at the time the bet was made; or
(b) clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring at the time the bet was made, including, in either case, because the bet was placed after the start of an event because the market was not displaying or reflecting In-Play status, or because of any other reason, then all bets will stand but we will settle winning bets at the correct odds (as determined by us acting reasonably).
27.5. Handicap markets. If an Error is made in Handicap setup, for example, Handicap reads as - instead of + or vice versa on any of our events, either for In-Play or pre-match betting, we will settle bets at the correct Handicap at the time at which the bet was placed (as determined by us acting reasonably).
27.6. Each way bets. If, in Error, an "each way" bet is offered in a market when the pricing of the market clearly indicates that it should not have been, we will settle this bet as "win only". Should the selection be part of an "each way" multiple bet, the entire multiple bet will be settled as "win only".
27.7. Multiple bets. If a multiple bet with related contingencies is taken in Error, we will settle the individual bet combinations that include 2 or more of the related contingency selections as single bets. If, in Error, we accept a multiple bet which combines 'each way' and 'win only' markets, all "each way" bets which are included within the multiple bet will be settled as win only bets.
27.8. #OddsOnThat. Bets placed via #OddsOnThat will be void if there was a wording or pricing Error in the setup when you placed it. In such circumstances, we will subsequently offer the #OddsOnThat bet with the correct wording or pricing, so that you can place the bet again.
27.9. Enhanced odds. We will void any bet with enhanced odds if the enhanced odds were intended to apply to pre-match bets only, and we accepted the bet in Error, at its enhanced odds, after the relevant event started. If there is an Error in the wording or pricing for an enhanced bet, we will, in accordance with the applicable settlement rules set out in the Sportsbook, settle the bet at the odds at which we intended to offer and/or pursuant to the wording which was clearly intended to relate to, the relevant bet.
- Third Party Feeds and Score Displays
28.1. Without affecting anything we say in Part A Section 23 of the General Terms, you should be aware that the current score, time elapsed, video and certain other sports data provided on the Website is sourced from live feeds provided by third parties and may be subject to a time delay and/or be inaccurate. If you rely on this third party data to make decisions about and place bets, you do so entirely at your own risk, as we do not have control over it. Our rules for bet settlement still apply, but -- except as set out in Part B Section 21.1 of the General Terms -- we are not responsible for any discrepancy between such data as displayed on the Website and how a bet is settled, because it is an Event Beyond Our Control.
28.2. We also use third party sports data to determine the settlement of certain markets. For example, we use data provided by Opta to determine the settlement of markets containing certain football related statistics, such as number of shots on target, offsides, tackles and corners taken in a match (as available on the Website from time to time). You can find out more about Opta and its data feeds by visiting its website.
- Reliance on Sports Information
29.1. As set out in Part A Section 23 of the General Terms, we do not guarantee which Games or other Services will be available via the Website at any time, or that the Services or Software will be free from Errors, Malfunctions or Interruptions. The following are some examples of how this applies in relation to the Sportsbook:
(a) we do not guarantee that information provided on the Sportsbook, such as the posting of prices, odds, runners, times, scores, results or general statistics, or any trackers, will be free from Errors;
(b) any results or scores you may be advised of by one of our customer support representatives (for example, during betting In-Play) are provided for guidance purposes only;
(c) we may decide to suspend betting on a market at any time (even if such suspension is earlier than anticipated by the applicable Sportsbook Rules); and
(d) in the interests of maintaining integrity and fairness in the markets, we may also void certain bets in a market or void a whole market in its entirety in accordance Part B Section 10 of the General Terms.
29.2. This does not affect our responsibility under Part B Section 21.1 of the General Terms.
- Sportsbook Specific Definitions and Interpretation
The terms 'all in compete or not' and 'non-runner' are defined here.
The term 'competitor' means a player, team or other individual or organisation (such as TV show contestants, politicians, and political parties) competing in an event. A reference to an 'individual 'competitor' excludes teams and organisations in the context it is used (a market describing individual achievement in an event, for example).
The term 'Dead Heat' is defined here.
The terms 'Handicap' and 'Spread' are defined here.
A '2-Way' (also known as a 'Head-to-Head') is a bet on a market with two possible outcomes of an event. A draw is not offered as a selection on any market available for a 2-Way bet, meaning a draw result will always void a 2-Way bet.
A '3-Way' is a bet on a market with three possible outcomes of an event. A draw is offered as a selection for a 3-Way bet.
The terms 'In-Play' betting and 'pre-event market' are defined here.
The terms 'leg' and 'multiple bet' are defined here.
The term 'market' means a betting market that offers odds for, and enables you to bet on, an outcome relating to an event. We typically offer multiple markets for each event.
A 'Moneyline' bet is wager that one team or individual will defeat another (a 'to win' bet).
An 'Outright' bet is a wager placed on the outcome of an entire league or competition as opposed to a single bet on an individual game or event.
A 'Proposition' bet is a wager placed on a specific outcome within an event that is not directly related to the result of the event.
The term 'push' is defined here.
The term 'related contingency' means where the outcome of one event is likely to affect the odds on the outcome of another event.
If we 'resettle' a bet, this means we change the status of a settled bet. For example, changing a losing bet to a winning bet or changing a winning bet to a voided bet.
When we 'settle' a bet, we determine whether your bet is a winning bet, a losing bet, or a voided bet.
A 'Non-Runner Deduction' (known in UK horseracing by the industry standard name 'Tattersalls Rule4(c)') is a deduction applied to winnings earned from an event which declares a non-runner if the reduction in the number of competitors competing in the event increases the remaining competitors' chances of winning. The deduction adjusts every 1.00 unit of currency won to reflect the correct odds of a selection following the withdrawal of the non-runner from the relevant event. The following table sets out the percentages applied for the deduction based on the odds offered for the non-runner prior to its withdrawal:
Odds of selection Deduction Odds of selection Deduction
1/9 or shorter 0.90 6/5 to Evens 0.45
2/11 to 2/17 0.85 6/4 to 5/4 0.40
1/4 to 1/5 0.80 7/4 to 13/8 0.35
3/10 to 2/7 0.75 9/4 to 15/8 0.30
2/5 to 1/3 0.70 3/1 to 5/2 0.25
8/15 to 4/9 0.65 4/1 to 10/3 0.20
8/13 to 4/7 0.60 11/2 to 9/2 0.15
4/5 to 4/6 0.55 9/1 to 6/1 0.10
20/21 to 5/6 0.50 14/1 to 10/1 0.05
over 14/1 No deduction
When a market is 'unconditionally determined' it means the outcome is already known. For example, if in a football match you bet on who scores the first goal, and the first goal is scored, but then the match is abandoned and replayed at a date more than 3 days later, then your bet will be settled because this event in the game happened and was confirmed. However, bets placed on the match's final result would be void.
An 'unsettled' bet is one which has not yet been settled or paid out.
If we 'void' a bet, this means that your bet has been cancelled. You will not receive any winnings on the bet and your stake will be returned.
1 American Football

- At least ten minutes of official time must elapse in the fourth quarter for bets to stand.
- Overtime counts for all markets unless stated otherwise
- Abandoned or postponed games must be resumed or rescheduled within 60 hours of the initial kickoff time for bets to stand, otherwise bets will be voided. The initial kick off time will be determined based upon the NFL’s schedule of the game time during the current scheduling week, and will not include any prior rescheduling. For example: A Playoff game between the Bills and Steelers is moved from Saturday at 1pm EST to Monday at 4:30pm EST will stand and all bets will be settled as per results.
- All settlements are based on results and statistics provided by the relevant league's governing body: www.nfl.com, www.cfl.ca, www.ncaa.org.
- We reserve the right to suspend any or all betting on a game at any time without notice.
- Handicap betting: In Handicap & Total betting, where the index (value) of the market is a whole number, bets are void and will be refunded where the score lands on that number.
- All Outright markets include playoffs where applicable.
- For settlement purposes, the team listed second in the event name is always considered the Home Team. Example: Team A v Team B or Team A @ Team B - Team B is the Home Team.
- Where you have placed a bet on a number of players to achieve a given outcome in a particular event, your bet will be voided if any of the selected players do not take part in such event. For example, if you have placed a bet on players A, B and C to each score a touchdown in a specified match, your bet will be voided (in its entirety) if players A and B score a touchdown but player C does not take part in the match (for the avoidance of doubt, your bet will be settled as a losing bet if players A and B score a touchdown but player C takes part and does not score a touchdown).
- Regular Season Wins: Team must play all 17 regular season games for bets to stand.
- For settlement purposes, “Team Defence” selections do not include Special Teams.

- For In-Play Betting purposes, these rules apply unless stated otherwise.
- When scores are displayed in running, every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the score and game time; however, no liability is accepted for incorrect information displayed.
- Proposition bets:
- In the event of an abandoned game, all stakes are returned, unless a result is already determined through the course of play that has taken place.
- For player prop markets, only when a player does not play a snap in that game are the selections voided. All other bets will stand.
- First Completion/Rush Attempt/Reception - If the specified player does not record a completion/rush/reception then bets on that market will be void.
- Longest Completion/Rush/Reception - If the specified player does not record a completion/rush attempt/reception then the “under” selection will be deemed the winner for settlement purposes.
- NFBets will be settled based on official results provided by the league. For bets to stand, the number of games deemed to be officially resulted must equal the number of games scheduled when the season begins, unless the outcome has already been unequivocally determined. Any forfeited game that is considered an official result will count towards season long bets.
- For season long player prop bets and player award bets, the nominated player must be involved in at least one snap during the regular season game for bets to have action.
- For the purposes of regular season win total markets, games that result in ties are to be treated as losses.
- Quarter and half markets:
- For bets based on the specific quarters or halves, the entire period of play must be played unless the result is already determined, except second half markets which do include overtime if played.
- The fourth quarter does not include overtime.
- Double Result (half time/full time):
- Double result markets are settled on the basis of the score at half time and full time (exclusive of any overtime).

- For quarter and half betting, the entire period must be played for bets to stand.
- First offensive play yard line:
- The result is determined by where the first offensive play from scrimmage takes place.
- In the event of the kick off being returned for a touchdown, bets stand for the following kick off.
- In the event of a turnover, the result is determined on where the first offensive play takes place with respect to the receiving team's yard line.
- First penalty:
- This is settled on the first accepted penalty in the game.
- First turnover and first team to commit a turnover:
- For results purposes, only an interception or a fumble counts.
- A punt or 'turnover on downs' does not qualify as a turnover for settlement purposes.
- In the event of an abandoned game, stakes are returned unless a turnover has already taken place.
- First offensive play:
- In the event of a false start penalty on the first offensive play, bets stand for the next offensive play that takes place without a false start penalty.
- First team/last team to score and first touchdown scorer:
- In the event of an abandoned game, bets stand on scores that have taken place already (and overtime counts for these markets).
- Touchdown scorers are offered with the option of others on request.
- Only when a player does not play a snap in that game are the selections voided.
- For touchdown scorer markets, the winning selection is the player who possesses the ball in the endzone. For example - on a pass TD play, the receiver in the endzone will be settled as the winner, not the QB.
- Odd/Even Markets:
- In the event a result of zero is arrived at, that shall be considered an even number for settlement purposes.
- NFL Draft:
- The official draft list on nfl.com is used for settlement purposes.
- For “over/under draft position” markets, undrafted players are assigned the draft position that comes after the last drafted player.
- For over/under draft position markets under means the player is chosen with a pick that is less than the designated number and over would be after that designated number, for example a market of ‘Player A over/under draft position 3.5’, if Player A is picked with the second pick of the Draft than under bets would win and over bets lose.
- EDGE is classified as defensive lineman for settlement purposes.
- Notre Dame is classified as independent and not belonging to any conference for settlement purposes.
- College Football and CFL Specific Rules:
- For player prop markets, the player must play at least one snap for proposition bets to stand.
- For touchdown scorer market, betting is all-in whether the player takes the field or not.
- Markets that are revised at half time for the second half of that game include overtime.
- In the event of a tie in the CFL, all money line wagers will be refunded.
- 3 #OddsOnThat American Football Rules
- The rules in this sub-section apply specifically to the settlement on any American Football bets which are placed via #OddsOnThat ("OOT"). All other settlement rules which are indicated in this "American Football" section (or elsewhere on the Website) will also apply to the settlement of OOT bets unless they contradict, or conflict with, those included in this sub-section (in which case, the rules in this sub-section shall take precedence).
- For any obvious wording errors, we reserve the right to cancel any OOT bets placed on the relevant selection (and, in such circumstances, we will offer the OOT bet to be re-placed with the correct wording).
- If any player who forms part of an OOT bet does not take any part in the relevant match (or does not fulfil the conditions of the bet), then the whole OOT bet shall be voided. This will apply in all cases regardless if any/all of the remaining components win or lose. For clarification a player is deemed to not take part only if listed as "inactive" per NFL.com.
2 Athletics

- If there is no presentation ceremony, outcomes will be determined in accordance with the official result of the relevant governing body, regardless of any subsequent disqualification or amendment to the result (except if an amendment is announced within 24 hours of the initial settlement of the relevant market in order to correct an error in reporting the result).
- If a track or field event is abandoned, cancelled or postponed and not completed within 7 days of the scheduled completion date, all bets will be void except for those on markets which have been unconditionally determined.
- Overall winner markets relate to the winner of the overall event and not for individual qualifiers or heats. As 'Any Other Athlete' is NOT quoted, non-featured athletes will be added to this market on request. Once 'Any Other Athlete' is listed, no further athletes will be added.
3 Australian Rules Football
- Payouts will be based on the official declared result. Regular season Home and Away matches are settled at 'Normal Time' with no extra time played. In the event of a 'draw' where no draw option is offered we will apply the 'Dead Heat rule' and all bets will be paid at half face value of the ticket. In the instance of the AFL Grand Final, where no overtime is played, all Head to Head betting is settled in accordance with the 'Dead Heat rule'. NAB Cup, AFL Finals and any other Competition which includes extra time will be paid on the completion of extra time.

For 1st Goal Scorer (Game/1st Quarter only), if the selected player is not in the starting 22 all wages on that selection will be refunded. All wages for 1st Goal Scorer on any other quarter stand, regardless of the nominated player being selected as the Substitute for their respective team. - Wooden Spoon is paid on the team which has the least wins for the season including byes. In the event of more than one team having the same number of wins the position will be determined by For and Against. Points deducted because of breaches of rules and regulations are excluded for resulting purposes. All In. Win Only.
- Miss 4/Miss 8: For betting purposes Any Team which has Points Deducted due to breaches of rules and regulations will be 'Deemed A Starter'. All decisions made by the AFL regarding penalties are final.
- For the Premier State market, payouts will be determined by the home state of the team that wins the Grand Final.

- Market Specific Rules
- Correct Score:
- In the event of a disqualification or retirement from a match or an abandonment of a match, all bets on the correct score of that match will be voided.
- If, during a given match, there is a change to the total number of sets to be played, all bets on the correct score of that match will be voided (but all other markets involving the relevant match will stand).
- For correct score markets, the number first appearing in the score is the score of the home player and the number appearing second is the score of the away player. For example, bets placed on "2-1" are bets on the home player to win by two games to one and bets placed on "1-2" are bets on the away player to win by two games to one.
- Match Handicap Betting, Match Point Handicap, Total Games & Total Points:
- Following either a disqualification or retirement from a match or an abandonment of a match, all bets on these markets will be voided other than those in respect of which markets have already been unequivocally determined. For example, should a match be abandoned in the 3rd game in a best of 3 game match, then bets on Over 2 / Under 3 Games will be settled as winners/losers accordingly (since the match has gone to a decisive 3rd game).
- Current Game Winner, Game Handicap Betting, Current Game Correct Score, Current Game Total Points, Current Game Extra Points, Current Game Lead after x Pts & Current Game Race to x Pts:
- Following either a disqualification or retirement from a match or an abandonment of a match during the game on which the applicable bet was placed, all bets on these markets will be void other than those in respect of which markets have already been unequivocally determined. For example, should a game be abandoned at 20-15 then bets on Over/Under 35.5 points or fewer in that game will be settled as winners/losers respectively (since, at the point of abandonment, any conclusion to the game would necessarily have to have had at least 36 points).
5 Bandy
- All bets settled on 90 minutes play unless otherwise stated. If 90 minutes are not completed all bets will be deemed void unless an official result is declared.
- The settlement of the markets for each match is based on the results provided by the organizing federation.
- In the event of a match not taking place, bets of this match are deemed void.
- Should a match be abandoned all markets will be voided unless the outcome has been unequivocally decided.
6 Baseball
- 1 General Rules
- These rules apply to Major League, all levels of Minor League, NCAA, and World Baseball. World Baseball is defined as a league governed outside of the United States.
- All wagers are graded based on the official results published by the relevant league’s governing body (e.g., Major League Baseball).
- If a game does not start on the officially scheduled day (local time), as published by the governing body, due to a rain delay or other deferral, all wagers shall be void. If a game that has started is suspended, due to a rain delay or other deferral, and resumes within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time (local time), then all wagers will stand. If a game starts, is then suspended, and resumes more than 48 hours after the originally scheduled start time (local time), all existing wagers will be void unless determined prior to the game’s suspension.
- If a game is halted and scheduled to resume more than 48 hours after the original scheduled start time (local time), all wagers shall be void unless determined prior to the game’s suspension.
- In the event of a shortened game, results are official after (and, unless otherwise stated, bets shall be settled subject to the completion of) 5 innings of play, or 4.5 innings should the home team be leading at the commencement of the bottom of the 5th innings (the “4.5 Innings Rule”).Once the visiting team has made 15 outs, should a game be called early and the home team is leading, the results of the game will be determined by the score at the time the game is called. Should a game be called early while it is tied or amid an inning in which the visiting team has taken the lead, the game becomes a “suspended game” and is handled according to the rules surrounding suspended games.
- Unless otherwise specified, results will only be official after (and bets shall be settled subject to the completion of) a minimum of 9 innings’ play, or 8.5 innings should the home team be leading at the commencement of the bottom of the 9th inning (the “8.5 Innings Rule”).
- For the purposes of live betting, the 8.5 Innings Rule shall automatically apply unless stated otherwise - e.g., in the section below entitled “Overview of Specific Baseball Markets” (which shall take precedence over this section). If a game is shortened due to a rain delay or other deferral, live betting markets which have been determined will stand (irrespective of the 8.5 Innings Rule or whether an official league result has been confirmed).
- Extra innings, where applicable, count for settlement purposes.
- In the case of a suspended playoff/post-season game, all bets will stand until the game is completed within 90 days of suspension.
- Should a mercy rule be applied, for settlement purposes, markets (for both pre-match and live betting) will be settled according to the result as determined by the application of the mercy rule. For baseball games scheduled to be 7 innings, normal baseball rules will apply with all markets settled as per the official result published by the relevant league’s governing body and in accordance with the below-listed rules:
- Money Line bets will be settled as per the “4.5 Innings Rule”;
- Bets on markets that are unequivocally determined will stand (example: bets on 1st inning total runs scored will remain settled as determined if the game gets called in the 3rd inning);
- All other markets (including but not limited to Run Line and Total Runs) will be void if not already unequivocally determined, unless a minimum of 7 innings are played, or 6.5 innings should the home team be leading at the commencement of the bottom of the 7th inning.
6.2 Action vs. Listed Pitchers
When wagering on baseball Money Lines, you may be able choose to apply one of the following methods to each wager:
- Action:All Money Line wagers are defaulted to “Action” meaning all wagers struck will stand if a pitcher change occurs. Wagers will be honored at the odds at bet placement and settled as normal.
- One Specified Pitcher (Home Listed/Away Listed):A wager on or against one Listed Pitcher, regardless of the other Listed Pitcher. If the Listed Pitcher does not start, the wager is “No Action” and will be refunded.
- Both Specified Pitchers:A wager in which both Listed Pitchers must start the game. If both actual starting pitchers are not the ones listed on the wagering ticket, the wager will be deemed “No Action” and refunded.
- All other game markets are considered “Action”and wagers will remain open regardless of any personnel change.
- Listed Pitchers are not relevant to World Baseball marketsand bets on such markets will stand regardless of whether any Listed Pitchers do in fact start. Should a game end in a tie, Money Line wagers will be graded as a push with all other markets settled as per the result.
6.3 Player Props
For all MLB player markets, wagers will be void as per below (unless explicitly stated in market specific rules):
- Pitcher Markets:If the listed pitcher does not start the game.
- Batter Markets (Hits, Runs, etc.):if the listed player does not record a plate appearance.
- To Hit a Home Run & Home Run / Game Winner Parlay:Listed players must record at least 1 plate appearance for bets to stand. If listed players do not record a plate appearance, bets on that player will be void. Listed pitchers have no bearing on this market.
- Result of Plate Appearance:Listed players must record the relevant plate appearance for bets to stand. If listed players do not record a plate appearance, bets on that player will be void. If a player is substituted out of the game between plate appearances, bets on plate appearances that have already occurred will stand. However, bets on future plate appearance markets will be voided. For settlement purposes, hit by pitches (HBPs) will be settled as Walk/HBP. A fielder’s choice, catcher’s interference, or reach on error will all be ruled as an “other outcome.” A pitch must be thrown in the plate appearance for bets to be action. If no pitch is thrown in the plate appearance (i.e., the pitching team elects to intentionally walk the batter before any pitches are thrown) bets on the market will be void. This shall not however impact other markets which are impacted by the result (i.e., the intentional walk results in an RBI for the batter).
- To Hit First Home Run:Listed players must record at least one plate appearance for bets to stand. If listed players do not record a plate appearance, bets on that player will be void. If a non-listed player is ruled the winner, bets on listed qualified players are action. If no Home Runs are hit in the game, "No Home Run" will be deemed the winning selection.
- To Hit Next Home Run:Listed position players must record at least one plate appearance for bets to stand. If listed players do not record a plate appearance, bets on that player will be void. Once a player has recorded a plate appearance, wagers made on that player for all subsequent indices (Player to Hit 3rd Home Run, 4th Home Run, etc.) will stand regardless of the number of plate appearances that player ultimately records in the game. In the event there is no “Next Home Run”, all bets placed on that index will be void. Example: Wagers placed on “Player to hit 4th Home Run” market will be void in a game where only 3 Home Runs are hit.
- Player to Record a Hit Markets:Listed players must record at least one plate appearance for bets to stand. If listed players do not record a plate appearance, bets on that player will be void. Once a player has recorded a plate appearance, bets on all subsequent hits markets (2+ hits, 3+ hits, etc.) will stand regardless of the number of plate appearances that player ultimately records in the game.
- To Record Total Bases:Total Bases are recorded through hits. They do not include walks, HBPs, reach on errors, or fielder's choices.

- Player Performance Parlays:For pitchers, the listed pitcher must start for bets to stand. Bets will stand regardless of a change in status to the opposing listed pitcher. For batters, the listed player must record at least 1 plate appearance for bets to stand. If listed players do not record a plate appearance, bets on that player will be void. A change to the status of either listed pitcher will have no bearing on the settlement of any batter-specific player parlay.
- Result of First Pitch:Settled based on the first pitch thrown in the listed half inning. A change to the status of either listed pitcher, or to either line-up, will have no bearing on the settlement of this market. For settlement purposes, a reach on error, catcher’s interference, or a foul ball that results in an out will be ruled as an “other outcome.” Batted balls that result in the plate appearance ending (ex. hits/outs) will not be regarded as strikes for the purposes of settlement. If a pitcher or batter violation results in an automatic ball or strike to begin the at-bat, the market will be settled based off the outcome of the violation (e.g. if a pitcher violation results in an automatic ball to start the at-bat, ‘Ball’ will be settled as the winning selection).
- Method of First Hit:Settled based on the method by which the first hit of the game (for either team) occurs. A change to the status of either listed pitcher will have no bearing on the settlement of this market. If a listed batter is not in the starting line-up, bets on that batter will be void.
- 3 Up, 3 Down:This occurs when only three batters come to the plate and record official plate appearances during the listed half-inning. It is possible for players to reach base and for a “3 Up, 3 Down” to still occur (e.g., Runner caught stealing, double play, etc.).
- Pitch Velocity:Pitch velocity markets will be settled according to official results as published by MLB's Statcast. Should a batter or pitcher violation occur before a pitch is thrown in the plate appearance, wagers will be settled based on the first pitch thrown following the violation. For starting pitcher velocity markets, the listed batter vs. pitcher matchup must occur for wagers to have action. For relief pitcher velocity markets, the listed batter vs. pitcher matchup must occur in the listed inning for wagers to have action.
- Pitches Per Plate Appearance:Automatic balls/strikes that result from pitcher/batter violations will count as pitches. Markets will be void should an intentional walk be issued at any point prior to or during the plate appearance. Should the listed plate appearance not occur, bets on the market will be voided.

- Daily Slate Specials: All games scheduled to be played on the listed date must be played to completion (an official result) for bets to stand, unless the outcome has been unequivocally determined.
- For example, if 15 games are scheduled on a given day, and one of the games was postponed/rescheduled to another date due to weather, markets that were unequivocally decided would be settled (e.g., “Will Any Player Hit a Grand Slam” would be settled if a Grand Slam was hit in one of the other games). If the two listed pitchers record the same number of strikeouts, bets on the matchup will be voided. - Regular Season Series Winner: Games must be played within the originally scheduled series dates to be counted towards series settlement. Series bets will be void if affected by postponed/rescheduled games that take place after the originally scheduled series end date unless the outcome has been unequivocally determined prior to the interruption of the series. For series’ scheduled to be an even number of games (e.g. a four game series), either two-way betting or three-way betting (with “Series Tied” as a third possible selection) may be available. If two-way betting is available, bets on that market will be void if the teams split the series. If three-way betting is available, bets on the “Series Tied” option will be ruled as winners if the teams split the series.
- Playoff Statistical Leader Specials: Dead-heat rules apply if multiple players tie for the lead of a statistical category (e.g., “Player to Record Most Hits”, “Player to Record Most Home Runs”, etc.) Batters must record at least one MLB plate appearance and pitchers must face at least one MLB hitter during the listed timeframe for bets to have action. Should these requirements not be met, bets will be voided.
- Live Specials: An official no-hit game occurs when a pitcher (or pitchers) allows no hits during the entire course of a game, which consists of at least nine innings (minimum 27 outs) thrown by the pitcher(s). For a perfect game, the pitcher(s) must comply with all requirements of the no-hitter, but also not allow any baserunners to reach via walk, HBP, uncaught third strikes, catcher’s or fielder’s interference, or fielding errors. No-hitters and perfect games will be settled regardless of the number of pitchers used by the relevant team. For live pitcher specials, all bets will stand if the listed pitcher starts the game. For live batter specials, all bets will stand if the listed player records at least one plate appearance in the game.

- Results are not official for betting purposes until verified by officials at the fighting venue. If for some reason official verification does not occur at the fighting venue, then (and only then) will reference will be made to www.boxrec.com for settlement purposes. Should an official or unofficial sanctioning body overturn a fight decision based on an appeal, suspension, lawsuit, drug testing result or any other fighter sanction, this will not be recognised for betting purposes.
- Should a contest be postponed, bets will stand if the rescheduled event occurs within 48 hours. Otherwise, all bets in relation to the contest will be void.
- In the event of a 'no contest' being declared, all bets will be made void, with the exception of selections where the outcome has already been unequivocally determined.
- Should there be a substitution for one of the boxers, bets on the original contest will be void, except in a tournament based competition where we may apply a Non-Runner Deduction may apply (see Prize Fighter below)
- Should there be a change in the manner in which a contest is advertised (e.g. a contest changes from a title fight to a non-title fight) bets will stand.
- Match Betting markets where no draw selection is offered will be made void if the match ends in a draw.
- In fights where the scheduled number of rounds changes, all bets will stand unless the result would be automatically determined by the change in the number of rounds (in which case, such bets will be voided). For example, if a fight gets changed from a 12 to a 10 round fight, bets on rounds 11 and 12 will be void.
- Exhibition Fights – if a result is declared in the ring, all bets will be settled as per the result announced. If there is no result declared then all bets will be void.
- The statistics provided by Compubox will be used to determine the settlement of any bets which are placed on: (i) a given fighter to achieve a certain number of punches landed, (ii) a given fighter to land a certain number of Jabs (iii) a given fighter to land a certain number of Power Punches and (iv) a given fighter to land a certain number of Body Punches.
- Round Betting/Group Round Betting/Alternative Group Round Betting
- This market is betting on the round/rounds in which the result of the fight will be determined, it is not betting on named fighters to win the round/rounds on the judge’s scorecards.
- If a boxer withdraws during the period between rounds, the fight is deemed to have ended in the previous round. The bell will signal the end of a round and the bell being sounded again will signal the start of the next round. Therefore, a boxer who withdraws after the bell is sounded to signal the start of the next round will be deemed to have lost in that round, even if there's no competitive action in that round.
- Subject to the following rule, should, for any reason, the scheduled number of rounds be changed before the commencement of the contest, all round by round bets will stand.
- Notwithstanding the above rule, should, for any reason, the scheduled number of rounds be decreased before the commencement of the contest, all round by round bets on the dropped rounds will be void. Bets on all the remaining rounds will stand.
- Where a contest finishes before the completion of the scheduled number of rounds and, for any reason, the winner is decided by the "judges" scorecards (technical decision/technical draw) then all round bets will be deemed losers.
- If the contest goes to the scorecards, then all round bets will be deemed losers.
- Where a contest finishes before the scheduled number of rounds due to an accidental injury and the winner is not determined by the "judges" scorecards, all bets will be void.
- For "Total Rounds" settlement purposes, 1 minute and 30 seconds will represent half a round. For example, for a bet on "Over 10.5 rounds" to be a winner, the fight must last beyond 1 minute and 30 seconds in round 11. If the number of rounds for a fight is changed after this market has been set then all bets on this market will be void.
- For "Will the Fight Go the Distance" (or similarly titled) markets, should the scheduled number of rounds change, this market will be made void. In the event of a technical decision, for settlement purposes, the fight will have been deemed NOT to have gone the distance (i.e. the scheduled number of rounds).
- Round Specials
- Any bets placed on occurrences to occur (or not to occur) in a given round will be deemed losing bets if the fight concludes (for any reason) before that round. For example, any bets on a fighter to have a point deducted in round 9 will be deemed losing bets if a knock-out brings the relevant fight to a conclusion in round 7.
- Method of victory
- A knockout (KO) occurs when the boxer does not stand up after a ten count. Technical knockouts (TKO) occur when a boxer is knocked down three times within the same round and the fight is stopped or where the referee steps in to stop the fight when it is decided that a fighter cannot safely continue. If a fighter fails to answer a bell for the next round then this will also be deemed a TKO. For betting purposes, KO/TKO options also include disqualification and retirement.
- Technical Decision/Draw
- If a fight is scheduled for more than four rounds and, after four rounds, an accidental foul occurs which causes an injury (further to which the referee stops the fight), the fight will be deemed to have resulted in a technical decision in favour of the boxer who is ahead on the scorecards at the time the fight is stopped (and all markets on the fight will stand).
- If the accidental injury / technical decision occurs during the first 4 rounds, all bets will be made void UNLESS the result of the relevant market has already been unequivocally determined or if the "judges" scorecards are used to determine an official winner at ringside.
- If an intentional foul causes an injury and the injury results in the fight being stopped in a later round: (i) the injured boxer will be deemed to have won by technical decision if he is ahead on the scorecards and (ii) the fight will result in a 'technical draw' if the injured boxer is behind or even on the score cards (and, for settlement purposes, the result of the fight will be deemed to be a draw).
- For betting purposes, betting on rounds or a group of rounds is for a fighter to win by KO, TKO, disqualification or due to the other fighter retiring during that round or group of rounds. In the event of a technical decision before the end of the fight, all round bets will be deemed to be losers.

- Outright bets will be void on any named boxer who does not start the tournament. This rule does not apply to the reserve fighters.
- "Either reserve" (or similar) may be listed as a selection for any Prizefighter tournaments. These selections are priced on a compete or not basis and, accordingly, all bets on these selections will stand whether or not a reserve fighter competes.

- For ‘To Win A Stage’ markets, if the named rider fails to start the race all bets on that rider will be void. If the named rider is involved in a Dead Heat for first place in any stage, this will count as a stage win.

In the event of one or both cyclists do not start the event/stage then bets will be deemed void. If both cyclists start but fail to finish a specific event/stage then bets will be deemed void. If both cyclists start a specific event/stage and only one fails to finish then the cyclist who completes the specific event/stage will be deemed the winner.

14 Darts
- In the event of a match starting but not being completed, the player progressing to the next round will be deemed the winner (or in the case of the final the player declared the winner).
- If a match is not completed for any reason then bets on 'any correct score' or 'next leg/game/set' market will be void unless the market has been unconditionally determined.
- If a match is not completed for any reason then bets on any handicap market will be void unless the market has been unconditionally determined.
- For doubles and triples involving highest checkout, most 180s and win/loss of match, each aspect of the bet must have been won outright for the bet to be deemed successful (and settled as a winning bet). For the avoidance of doubt, the bet will be deemed unsuccessful (and settled as a losing bet) if: (i) the selected player's highest checkout is the same as his/her opponent, (ii) the selected player scores the same number of 180s as his/her opponent and/or (iii) the match is tied.
- For Darts Daily Specials, all scheduled matches must take place, otherwise all bets are void.
- Player to get the Highest Checkout: If match is not completed then all bets are void.
15 eSports
- If an event involves the same two players or teams playing multiple games/maps, E.G. "Best of 3", and one or more games or maps are not played because the result of the event has already been determined, bets on such games or maps are void.
Postponements/Cancellations
- Dates and start times are shown for info purposes only. Events cancelled, postponed or interrupted and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, bets on that event are void and stakes refunded. However, games or maps that are completed within 48 hours are settled normally even if additional games or maps that were supposed to be part of the same matchup are cancelled or further postponed.
Broadcast
- Bets are settled based on the official broadcast of the game by the publisher or event organiser. Where the broadcast shows a counter of rounds won, kills, dragons, towers etc., this will generally be used to settle relevant bets. If the result of a bet is unclear from the broadcast, or if there is no broadcast, then the statistics API for the game will be used where available.
Indexed Markets
- In the case of indexed or numbered markets (such as the winner of a specific round in Counter Strike: GO, or the team to score a particular numbered kill in League of Legends or DOTA2), the index determines the objective that counts. Words such as "next" in the market name are not guaranteed to be correct, as broadcasts may be delayed and we may not always advance the index precisely when an objective is scored or a round completed. All bets are therefore settled on the particular numbered round or objective specified, regardless of any other wording in the market name or its timing in relation to when the bet was placed.
- If the scheduled number of rounds or maps is changed, or if markets are erroneously offered based on a different number of rounds or maps from the actually scheduled number, then bets on the winning margin (including handicap), total rounds / maps, correct scores etc. are void and stakes refunded. Map winner and matchup winner bets stand.
- If any map is not played or is awarded to one player or team by walkover or default without play having commenced, all bets on that map and on the matchup as a whole are void and stakes refunded. Bets relating only to maps that are played stand. A map is deemed to have started as soon as the game clock starts or either team or player takes a game action relating to that map, including picks, bans and weapon purchases.
League of Legends
- Towers - all destroyed towers count as having been destroyed by the opposing team even if the last hit was from a minion.
- Inhibitors - all destroyed inhibitors count as having been destroyed by the opposing team even if the last hit was from a minion. For bets involving the number of inhibitors destroyed, each of the six inhibitors counts only once, even if it is destroyed, respawns and is destroyed again. For bets involving the next inhibitor destroyed, each destruction of an inhibitor counts separately, even where it has respawned and is being destroyed for a second or subsequent time.
- For bets involving kills (inc "First Blood", which in League of Legends is synonymous with the first kill on the map), the official broadcast or game API if available is definitive in determining whether the death of a Champion counts as a kill. For example, where a Champion is killed by tower or minion damage without the involvement of an enemy Champion this may not be registered as a kill on the broadcast, in which case it does not count as a kill for bet settlement purposes.
- For bets involving the next team to score a particular objective or the team to score the most of a particular objective, where a "neither" or "draw" option is offered and is the winning outcome, bets on either team are losers. Where no such selection is offered and neither team is a winner, all bets on the market are void and stakes refunded.
Surrenders
- Where one team surrenders, bets stand and are settled as follows. For bets involving the map winner, the winning team is the team that did not surrender.
- Bets involving dragons, barons and kills are settled based on the situation at the time the surrender takes place.
- Bets involving towers and inhibitors are settled as if the winning team had destroyed the minimum number of additional towers and / or inhibitors theoretically required to win the game normally from the position when the surrender occurred. For example, if any inhibitor of the losing team is down at the time of surrender then no additional inhibitor is deemed to have been destroyed. If no inhibitor of the losing team is down then the winning team is deemed to have destroyed one additional inhibitor, with priority given to an inhibitor that has already been destroyed if such an inhibitor exists and has respawned. If the winning team has destroyed all tier 1 towers and one tier 2 tower, then it will be deemed to have destroyed three further towers (seven in total), since it would have needed to destroy at least one tier 3 tower and the two nexus towers to have won the game normally from that position.
DOTA2
- Towers - all destroyed towers count as having been destroyed by the opposing team even if the last hit was from a minion.
- Barracks - all destroyed barracks count as having been destroyed by the opposing team even if the last hit was from a minion. The ranged and melee barracks in each pair count as separate barracks, so that each team has a total of six barracks.
- Kills (other than "First Blood") - the official broadcast or game API if available is definitive in determining whether the death of a Champion counts as a kill. E.G. where a Champion is killed by tower or minion damage without the involvement of an enemy Champion this may not be registered as a kill on the broadcast, in which case it does not count as a kill for bet settlement purposes.
- First Blood - The broadcast or official API score must register the kill as First Blood. Where, for example, a kill is denied by a team-mate, it may not be counted as First Blood (regardless of whether it is registered as a kill on the broadcast kill counter), in which case it will not count as First Blood for bet settlement purposes. For the avoidance of doubt, all kill markets other than "First Blood" are settled based on the kill counter, but a kill that is registered on the kill counter will count as First Blood only if is announced as such.
- Roshans - the team that scores the last hit on Roshan as determined by the broadcast or game API if available is deemed to have slain Roshan, regardless of the player who picks up the aegis of the immortal.
- Next team to score a particular objective or the team to score the most of a particular objective - where a "neither" or "draw" option is offered and is the winning outcome, bets on either team are losers. Where no such selection is offered and neither team is a winner, all bets on the market are void and stakes refunded
Surrenders
- Where one team surrenders, bets stand and are settled as follows:
- For bets involving the map winner, the winning team is the team that did not surrender.
- Bets involving Roshans, barracks and kills are settled based on the situation at the time the surrender takes place.
- Bets involving towers are settled as if the winning team had destroyed the minimum number of additional towers theoretically required to win the game normally from the position when the surrender occurred. For example, if the winning team has destroyed all tier 1 towers and one tier 2 tower, then it will be deemed to have destroyed three further towers (seven in total), since it would have needed to destroy at least one tier 3 tower and the two ancient towers to have won the game normally from that position.
Counter Strike: GO
- Most map bets are based on the scheduled number of rounds (usually best of 30) excluding extra rounds played in the event of a draw. If, however, a map winner market is offered without a "draw" selection then this is settled in favour of the overall winner of the map (inc ET if played)

The only exceptions are for matches that are played for a lesser duration (e.g. 30 minutes) as agreed by the laws of the competition in which they are competing or agreed by both sides prior to kick-off. In such cases, if the match is played in the traditional format of 2 halves, all bets will be settled at the end of the agreed game length.
- In the event of a match not taking place, bets on this match are deemed void.
- Should a match be abandoned all markets will be voided unless the outcome has been unequivocally decided.

For the purpose of this rule, the scheduled start time of a match shall be that which is declared by the GAA Central Council, the individual provincial councils and/or the individual county boards which determine the applicable competition fixtures. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the start times declared by any of the foregoing, the order of priority shall be (in descending order): (i) the GAA Central Council then (ii) the individual provincial councils then (iii) the individual county boards.
- #OddsOnThat GAA Rules
- The rules in this sub-section apply specifically to the settlement of any GAA bets which are placed via #OddsOnThat (OOT). All other settlement rules which are included in this "GAA" section or elsewhere on the Website will also apply to the settlement of OOT bets unless they contradict, or conflict with, those included in this sub-section (in which case, the rules in this sub-section shall take precedence).
- Own goals scored by the opposition team will count towards a team's goal tally. However, own goals scored by a player will not count towards that player's goal tally.
- If any player who is part of an OOT bet does not take any part in the relevant match, then the entire OOT bet in question will be voided.
- For OOT bets on a player to score under or over a total number of points: (i) the player selected must start the match (bets will be voided in instances where the relevant player does not start) and (ii) placed balls (i.e. free kicks, penalties, 45s and side-line balls) that result in a score will count towards this tally unless otherwise stated.
- For any OOT bets, extra time and/or replays will not count unless expressly specified otherwise.
- Any OOT bets involving woodwork to be hit require that the ball must hit a goalpost or the crossbar during active play. If the ball hits the woodwork after the referee has stopped play, then it will not count. If the ball hits the woodwork twice or more in succession, each connection with the woodwork will count separately.
- All OOT markets (including Total Wides/Lineouts) will be settled on the basis of the official result which is declared by RTE Sport (or such other organisation as is nominated by us from time to time).
- Markets in respect of the first goalkeeper to touch the ball will be settled on the basis of which goalkeeper first touches the ball while the match is in play. For example, if a goalkeeper touches the ball but the referee brings back play for any reason (e.g. a free kick is awarded in respect of an infringement which occurred before the goalkeeper touched the ball), the goalkeeper will, for the purposes of these rules, be deemed not to have touched the ball.
- Where an obvious pricing error has occurred, we reserve the right to cancel any OOT bets placed at the incorrect price (and, in such circumstances, we will offer the OOT bet to be re-placed at the correct price).
- For any obvious wording errors, we reserve the right to cancel any OOT bets placed on that selection (and, in such circumstances, we will offer the OOT bet to be re-placed with the correct wording).

- In the event of a 2/3 ball being rearranged all bets in that 2/3 ball will stand as per original pairings/groups.

- Odds for a tie are offered in 2 ball betting, therefore in the event of a tie bets on both players are losers and bets on the tie are winners. Dead heat rules apply in the event of a tie in 3 ball betting.

- In the event of a play-off, the result of the play-off will determine the winner of the tournament. Even if three or more contestants take part in a play-off, such a play-off has, for the purposes of any OOT bets, the sole purpose of determining the winner of the tournament (meaning that the relative finishing positions, within the tournament, of unsuccessful play-off contestants is not affected by their placing in the play-off).
- Any players who withdraw from a tournament after they have completed 3 holes or more are considered as having played in the tournament and, therefore, any OOT bets placed on those players will be deemed to be losing bets.
- For any OOT bets which involve a player that has withdrawn before they have completed 3 holes, the bet in question will be voided in its entirety.
- Where an obvious pricing error has occurred, we reserve the right to cancel any OOT bets placed at the incorrect price (and, in such circumstances, we will offer the OOT bet to be re-placed at the correct price).

- Dead Heat Rules apply.
- All bets are void if any player in the specified group does not complete the holes.
19.19 Longest Drive Markets

20 Greyhound Racing
20.1 General
- For commercial reasons, we may exclude selected customers from receiving various promotions, such exclusion which shall be communicated to the customer by email or otherwise.
- Best Odds Guaranteed is not available on greyhound racing.
- Greyhound names are displayed on theWebsite for information purposes only and all bets will be settled on the basis of the trap numbers on which bets are placed.
- Double result concessions do not apply to our greyhound racing markets.
- Where a "no race" is declared, all bets will be voided unless the "re-run" race takes place on the same day (in which case all original bets will stand).
- All bets will be settled on the basis of the official result declared on the day of the relevant race. If the official result is retrospectively changed, we will not resettle the applicable markets.
- In the event that no starting prices are returned for an individual race, all bets on that race will be declared void.
- Where a greyhound is withdrawn from a race or replaced by an alternative (e.g. reserve) greyhound, all early price bets which were placed on the remaining greyhounds before the withdrawal or replacement will be settled at those greyhounds' starting prices (while all bets placed following a withdrawal or replacement will be settled at the relevant greyhounds' early prices).
- Each way starting price bets will be accepted for unnamed favourites. All unnamed second favourites are win only and, therefore, no each way betting is available for them.
- In races where there are less than six runners, all Top 3 market bets will be void.
- In races where there are less than six runners, all Betting W/O market bets will be void
20.2 Future Greyhounds Betting
- For the avoidance of doubt, Future Racing and Antepost bets refer to the same market type and either term may be used interchangeably.
- Unless stated otherwise in the remainder of this sub-section, Future Greyhounds bets are accepted on an "all-in" basis, whether a selection runs or not. Therefore, in the event of a non-runner, for whatever reason, all bets placed on an Future Greyhounds basis will stand.
- When the runners for a Future Greyhounds event are finally determined (generally, this will mean that the event has been whittled down to 6 runners), all bets placed after the Trap Draw for the Final is announced will revert to Non-Runner No Bet.
- All bets placed after the trap draw for a final has been announced will be settled at their starting price (i.e. SP) should any of the other finalists fail to take their place for whatever reason.
- Bets placed on a given greyhound after the trap draw for a final will be voided if that greyhound is withdrawn from the race (i.e. such bets will be settled on a "non-runner no bet" basis).
20.3 Each way Betting
- Each way betting on greyhound races will be settled as follows: (i) 8 runners = 1/5th of the full payout for first three finishers and (ii) 5-7 runners = ¼ of the full payout for the first two finishers. Where there are four runners or fewer in a greyhound race, we do not offer each way betting.
- Where the number of runners in a race is reduced to four (i.e. for a race in which five or more greyhounds were previously due to compete), any each way bets will be automatically converted to "win only" bets.
20.4 Trap Challenge Bets
- A trap challenge bet is a bet placed on the most successful trap across a number of races.
- Where a trap challenge market offered by us is described by reference to specified timeframes, the postponement of any races (such that they do not occur within those timeframes) will be disregarded. For example if a meeting is scheduled to run from 18:38 to 21:26 but the 21:26 race ends up taking place at 21:49 due to unforeseen circumstances, the postponed race will still form part of any trap challenge bets which are placed in respect of such meeting.
- Trap challenge bets are defined by reference to their scheduled off-times. Any race which occurs outside of those scheduled off-times will not be included within the relevant bet (save where the race in question occurs outside of the scheduled off-time due to postponement).
- Trap challenge results stand irrespective of vacant traps, reserves running or void races. No Rule 4 deductions will be applied to trap challenge markets.
- All trap challenge bets will stand if more than half of the specified races in the named trap challenge market take place. If half of the races or fewer take place, bets on the relevant trap challenge market will be voided.
- Trap Challenge markets are win only and are only available up until the first scheduled race.
- If two or more trap numbers record the same number of wins then our normal dead-heat rules will apply to applicable trap challenge markets.
- Should any individual race result in a Dead Heat for 1st place then all greyhounds concerned will be regarded as having won that race for trap challenge settlement purposes.
- Inside v Outside – In races where there are less than six runners, all Inside / Outside trap bets will be void.
- Inside v Outside – In the event of a Dead Heat all Inside / Outside trap bets will be void. Bets are only void if an inside trap Dead Heats with an outside trap. Should two inside traps Dead Heat ie. Trap 1 and Trap 2, then inside traps should be paid as a winner.
20.5
20.8 Fixed Odds Forecasts and Fixed Odds Tricasts
- Should there be any non-runners in a race, bets will be settled at Industry Dividends.
- Should any selection included within a fixed odds forecast or fixed odds tricast bet be a non-runner, the entire forecast or tricast bet in question will be void.
20.9 Coursing
- All bets will be settled as per Irish Coursing Club (ICC) rules. In all circumstances, the judge's decision will be final.
- If a greyhound is withdrawn before coming under the slipper's control in the first round, bets placed on such greyhound will be deemed void.
- In the event of a final not being run for any reason, our Dead Heat rules will apply to all antepost bets.
- 21 Handball
- In case of a match being postponed it will be voided unless it takes place within 48 hours of the initial scheduled starting time.
- Settled on 60 minutes play unless stated otherwise. Extra time does not count.
- If 60 minutes is not completed then all bets will be void, except those that have been unconditionally determined. If an official result is declared all bets will stand.
- The name/heading of a competition amounts to evidence of what a bet refers to. For example, if you place a bet on "Norway vs Brazil" under the competition name/heading U20 World Cup, the bet will apply to the match between Norway and Brazil which is part of the U20 World Cup.
- 22 Hockey
- In case of a match being postponed it will be voided unless it takes place within 36 hours of the initial scheduled starting time.
- Overtime does not count unless stated otherwise.
- Should a match be abandoned all markets will be voided unless the outcome has been unequivocally decided.
- 23 Horseracing
23.1 General
- Unless stated otherwise, all individual race markets will be determined according to the official result at the time of the ‘weigh-in’ announcement. Subsequent disqualifications, appeals or amendments to the result will be disregarded. Card numbers are posted as a guide only: bets are placed on a named horse. Information (such as jockey silks, saddlecloth numbers etc) is provided “as is” and is for guidance only. We does not guarantee the accuracy of this information and use of it to place bets is entirely at your own risk.
- If a race is declared void, or in the event of a walkover, all bets on that race will be void.
- If a race is postponed or re-scheduled, all bets will stand providing the final declarations and the race venue remain unchanged.
- If the scheduled venue is changed after a bet is placed, all bets will be void.
- If a scheduled surface type is changed (e.g. turf to dirt) all bets will stand.
- The favourite is the selection quoted in the official starting price returns at the shortest odds. The second favourite is the horse quoted at the next shortest odds. If two horses are quoted at the same odds and these odds are shorter than those quoted against any other horses, then these two are equal first favourite and equal second favourite. If two or more co-favourites are thus selected, the stake will be divided equally between them.
23.2 Future Racing
- For the avoidance of doubt, Future Racing and Antepost bets refer to the same market type and either term may be used interchangeably.
- All Future Racing bets are accepted and settled on a Rules of Racing basis only.
- Future Racing bets are accepted at quoted prices, up to and including the day prior to the event, on the basis of all in, run or not, entered or not. Therefore selections not taking part in the race/event concerned are losers
- Future Racing bets are those placed at our quoted prices on horses and prior to the race becoming classed as ‘day of event’ (day of event is a term used to describe the time at which overnight declarations are made, usually 10am on the day preceding the race (or two days for certain Group 1 races) for horse racing and the day of the race for greyhounds).
- All bets placed after the overnight declaration stage are settled in accordance with our early prices/day of race rules.
- In line with principals laid down by Tattersalls Rules of Racing, Future Racing bets will be void under the following circumstances, otherwise bets stand:
- If the race is abandoned or declared void.
- If the venue of the race is altered or postponed to a later date at a different track.
- If the race is postponed to a later date at the same track with entries totally reopened bets placed after the initial entries are void, but bets placed prior to the initial entry stage will stand. All bets will stand if a race is postponed to later date at the same track with the same entries, whether the bet was placed before or after the initial entries stage.
- If the horse is balloted out or eliminated under Jockey Club rules single bets will be void. In any such cases, accumulative Future Racing bets will stand on the remaining legs, at the prices laid on the selections in those races, with a double becoming a single, a treble becoming a double, etc.
- In the event of horses being withdrawn under Jockey Club/Turf Club rules, to limit the number of entries taken part, these horses shall be void. The liability of a layer against horses remaining will be reduced on both win and place parts of such bets, in accordance with the rate to be announced before the race by Tattersalls Committee, dependant on the odds currently available against the withdrawn horses at the time of withdrawal. All bets are executed at the price ruling at the time of handing in of the bet. We reserve the right to correct any palpable error. Win doubles, trebles, etc are calculated at full accumulative odds. Each-way doubles and trebles etc. are settled win-to-win, place-to-place, and for the place part of such bets, the fractional odds pertaining at the time of acceptance. Place only bets, conditional bets and forecast bets are not accepted for Future Racing. When the same selection is backed to win two or more races/events in Future Racing bets, special odds are applicable. These special odds will supersede the accumulative odds calculated from the individual event prices irrespective of the fact that the individual event prices may be endorsed on the slip. If special odds were not available, the stake will be divided equally as singles at the prices available at the time the bet was placed.
- Any horse that does not qualify for, or is expunged from a race, will be settled as a loser. Bets taken on a horse after they have not qualified by the applicable qualifying date will be voided.
23.3 'Best Odds Guaranteed'
- Where ‘Best Odds Guaranteed’ is offered:
- Best Odds Guaranteed applies, for Winner markets only (win and each way), to any price taken on singles after 8am on the day of the applicable race.
- "Best Odds Guaranteed" is not available on Future Racing markets.
- ‘Best Odds Guaranteed’ is not available on multiples.
- Where "Best Odds Guaranteed" is offered, bets will be settled at the Industry Starting Price ("SP") if the SP is bigger than the price taken by the customer when they place their bet. For example, if the price taken is 3/1 and the SP is 4/1, we will pay out at the bigger price of 4/1.
- In the event of a Rule 4 deduction applying to a price taken, we will pay at the bigger odds after the Rule 4 deduction has been made to the price taken.
- Where no SP is returned, the last price offered by Betfair fixed odds will be taken as the SP.
- Best Odds Guaranteed does not apply to Oddsboost selections
23.4 Starting Prices
- '˜SP bets' placed on the Betfair Sportsbook or Betfair's 'Fixed Odds' products will be settled on the official Industry Starting Price and not the 'Betfair SP'.
- If no official Industry Starting Price or Industry Off Course Starting Price is returned, bets where no price is taken (including forecasts, tricasts and unnamed favourites) will be settled at the last price quoted on the Betfair Sportsbook prior to the off of the race.
23.5 Double Resulting
- Double result is only applicable to horse racing in Ireland and the UK where an industry SP is returned.
- Double result means if your horse is first past the post you get paid, however, should your horse be awarded the race or promoted to a place, as a result of a stewards enquiry or an objection which is announced before the ‘weigh in’ or ‘winner alright’, we will still pay you.
- In a combined Horses bet, the bet remains a winner if a runner in a combined horses selection is first past the post and another horse is promoted to a winner. The bet is promoted to winner if the runner in a combined horses selection is promoted to winner where the first past the post was not in the combined horses selection.
- We offer Double Result on Place Betting, Betting Without Favourite, Fallers Insurance, Combined Horses & all Insurebet Markets.
- Double result does not apply to the following bets or circumstances:
- All Future Racing bets
- Bets which rely on Tote dividends ie. Jackpots, Placepots etc which are settled on the Rules of Racing
- Any horse disqualified for taking the wrong course or for carrying an incorrect weight
- Races which are declared void
- Where there is an official correction to the result by the judge or SIS prior to the ‘weigh in’ and any races which are declared void before the ‘weigh in’ for which Rules of Racing will apply
- All bets on horse racing outside of Ireland and the UK (which shall be settled on a Rules of Racing basis only)
- All bets on horse racing within Ireland and the UK where an industry SP is not returned in respect of the applicable race (such bets shall be settled on a Rules of Racing basis only)
- A selection given as the winner in error by the judge
- All bets placed on Betting in Running markets (which will be settled on a Rules of Racing basis only)
- Oddsboost Markets
- The Aintree Grand National
23.6 Match Betting
- Where we offer match betting (i.e. where we select two or more horses in a particular race to compete against each other in a match bet), all bets will be settled in accordance with the Rules of Racing of the British Horse Racing Authority which are then in force (and results will be determined according to the official returns in the following day's Racing Post).
- Bets are settled on the best finishing position.
- For flat racing, if two or more of the named horses do not complete the course, the placing of those horses in relation to each other shall be determined, and bets shall be settled, according to the distance travelled by each horse (according to the official returns in the following day's Racing Post).
- For National Hunt races, if two or more of the named horses do not complete the course, the placing of those horses in relation to each other shall be determined, and bets shall be settled, according to the number of obstacles cleared by each horse (according to the official returns in the following day's Racing Post). If both horses clear the same number of fences/hurdles, bets will be void.
23.7 Place Terms
- Each-way bets (Win and Place) are offered for the majority of races. For all horse races (at Early Price and S.P) the each-way terms are affected by the type of race and the number of runners taking part and these terms are, unless indicated otherwise, as follows:
| Race Type |
No. of Runners |
Place Odds |
No. Places |

["˜Handicaps" include all Handicap and Nursery races]
- The '˜Win' and 'Place' part of each-way multiple bets are settled separately (that is, win-to-win and place-to-place).
- Once opened, the number of winners in 'to be placed' markets may be affected by further non-runners.
- From time to time we may offer promotions that pay out on extra placings in a horse race. In these instances we reserve the right to alter the standard place terms as set out above (e.g. we may offer to pay out 5 or 6 places in a handicap with 16 or more runners but to do so at 1/5 of the odds as opposed to standard 1/4). These promotions are not confined to handicaps. The onus is on the customer at all times to check the each way terms on offer (particularly in those races where we are offering additional place payouts).
- For a horse to be deemed not to have been placed in a given race, it must have started that race.
- If the number of placed horses is less than the number of potential winners, the winners will only be the placed horse or horses.
- If any race is reduced to four runners or less, all each-way bets will be taken as "all-to-win" given that there are no places.
