BRUMMELL turned in his best effort of the season when third in a race that is working out well at Doncaster last month and, successful on each of his 2 previous visits here, he could well be ready to strike reunited with his good value claimer. Almarada Prince has been holding his form very well and he's an obvious threat from a handy draw. Desert Treasure posted comfortably her best effort of the season from an unpromising position at Lingfield 3 weeks ago and is also high on the shortlist.

Comentários Timeform

Brummell (IRE)
Dual C&D winner who scored 3 times in 2025 and having eased in weights, posted best effort of the season when third at Doncaster (5.6f) 32 days ago. That form is working out well and he's of interest down in grade reunited with very capable claimer taking off handy 5lb.
Almarada Prince (IRE)
Losing run stretches back to 2024 but holding form well for new stable this year, making the frame in a trio of big-field York handicaps prior to again finding only one too good at Ripon (6f) 2 weeks ago. Respected back at the minimum trip with a good draw to work from.
Big Cyril (IRE)
Placed at listed level as a 2-y-o in 2024 but found things tough during a light 3-y-o campaign and he was well held on first start since leaving Alice Haynes (off 13 months) at Thirsk 3 weeks ago. This can reveal more but best watched nevertheless.
Accrual
Had gone off the boil for David Loughnane (sold for 22,000) before bouncing back to make all on yard debut in 5f Thirsk handicap in August. Good third over same C&D next time and had deep ground as an excuse when seventh at Haydock since. Can bounce back.
Straight Ahead
Finished 2025 by landing back-to-back 5f nurseries at Newcastle and went close to adding to his tally at Thirsk and over C&D in recent months. Should go well again from a handy draw with first-time cheekpieces applied. Engaged 3.23 Redcar Tuesday.
Call To Action (IRE)
Lightly raced and consistent performer who has finished runner up on 3 of his 5 starts this season, including over C&D in August. Not seen to best effect (not clear run 2f out) when tenth in big-field York handicap (5.4f) 10 days ago and he's worthy of respect from this mark.
Desert Treasure
Made it 2-2 as a juvenile at Windsor (5f) last summer. Low-key start in handicaps initially this season but much more like it despite an unpromising position when second of 6 in handicap at Lingfield (5f, all-weather) 3 weeks ago, keeping on well final 1f. Very interesting back on turf.
I'm Dan Dare
Made a winning stable debut at Catterick in May and doubled his tally with a bit in hand in 12-runner event at Newcastle (5f) the following month. Disappointed at York next time but shaped as if better for the run after 9 weeks off at Catterick 8 days ago. Still, this rates tougher.
Emperor Caradoc (FR)
Off the mark for the season at Thirsk in May and largely respectable efforts in defeat of late, responding well to application of blinkers when a close-up tenth in Silver Cup at Ripon (6f) 32 days ago. Draw in 12 less-than-ideal, however.
Qila
Has upped his game since having a second breathing operation, shaping as if ready for a return to 6f when third of 10 in handicap over C&D (good) 5 weeks ago. Each-way claims kept to this trip.
Fierce (IRE)
Made the frame on first 3 outings this season. Excuses when finishing midfield at Newcastle in June and he found the return to 6f beneficial when posting a good second of 9 at Southwell (6f) 6 weeks ago. Operating below last winning mark but return to 5f may not be ideal.
Empress Olivia
Confirmed reappearance promise when landing 13-runner event at Ripon (6f) in April. Struggled for form thereafter but eased back down to last winning mark as a result and she ran creditably when second in a C&D handicap 17 days ago. This looks a stronger contest, however.
