Exibição da Timeform

Plenty to consider with the vote going to MAGIC BOY, who looked a shade unlucky not to justify market confidence in a big field at Ripon last month. Grant Wood shaped well in the same race and is threatening to come good soon, with 3-y-os Return of The Gods and Straight Ahead also on the shortlist.

Conselhos de Cash Out da Timeform

Spirit Of Applause traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 25% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Anaisa has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP 4 times on its last 5 starts.

Comentários Timeform

Papa Cocktail (IRE)
Largely consistent veteran who still looked as good as ever when getting back to winning ways in ready fashion at Southwell 12 days ago, so respected up 4 lb.
Sixtygeesbaby (IRE)
Won well at Carlisle from a tumbling mark last month, but never went with any fluency under a penalty at Ffos Las 10 days later, and ran even worse when last of 16 at Doncaster on Sunday.
Sir Garfield (IRE)
Better than ever when winning at Catterick and Epsom on first 2 starts this season and was only just edged out back at latter course last month. Disappointed at Hamilton the following week but type to bounce back.
Magic Boy (GER)
Has improved again this season, landing 19-runner contest at York before quickly bouncing back with an excellent close third of 20 at Ripon last month. Remains unexposed as a sprinter so must be of interest again.
Reigning Profit (IRE)
Benefited from a more positive ride when getting off the mark for the season at Ripon in July but 4 lesser runs have followed, failing to beat a rival the last twice.
Return Of The Gods (IRE)
Wolverhampton maiden winner last autumn and progressive first 3 runs in handicaps this year, coming out on top in a tight finish at Doncaster in July. Not disgraced when beaten favourite both starts since and return to sprinting could be a good move.
Straight Ahead
Finished 2025 by landing back-to-back 5f nurseries at Newcastle and went close to adding to his tally at Thirsk and Beverley in recent months. Should go well again taking on older horses for the first time.
Grant Wood (IRE)
Back-to-back winner at Newcastle early in the year and has been shaping up quite well, second home on his side in a big field at Ripon last month. Easy to forgive next run on heavy ground so remains one to take seriously.
Come On Over (IRE)
Found some improvement to resume winning ways over C&D last month and backed that up with a good second off 7 lb higher at Lingfield 12 days ago. Up in class but he's going the right way.
Anaisa
Found it hard in handicaps after winning a Ripon listed event last summer but bounced back to her best off a reduced mark when close third at Newcastle on all-weather debut 10 days ago.
Yorkshire Glory (IRE)
Topped off a remarkable winter when recording his ninth win of the campaign at Newcastle in March, proving gutsy to make all in the face of a strong headwind. However, always behind after a slow start back on turf following month and likely to find this too competitive on first run since.
Zarvali (IRE)
Got off the mark on yard debut at Catterick on return in May but has yet to build on that, though at least bounced back to form in this headgear when fourth at Carlisle.
Hover On The Wind (IRE)
Won back-to-back races over 5f at Pontefract in June/July. Disappointed next 2 starts but had excuses over C&D since.
Spirit Of Applause
Looked unlucky (met trouble) when just failing over C&D last month but was just a respectable fourth back at this level at Ripon 2 weeks ago.
Sugar Baby
Veteran who was down the field twice after scoring at Doncaster in June but latest fifth over C&D was a step back in the right direction and he was successful off a similar mark over C&D last autumn.
