Exibição da Timeform

SWEET BABY ZOU looks capable of adding to her sole success before the season is out judged on her last 2 performances under her young claimer and gets the vote in a tricky handicap. Galway winner Rest Your Mind, Lady Arwen and Areana are a trio of the other likely contenders.

Conselhos de Cash Out da Timeform

A strongly contested lead could count against Areana, who is expected to try and race close up: A strong early pace seems highly likely. Sweet Baby Zou could be suited if held up as expected.

Comentários Timeform

Harana (IRE)
Improved when winning maiden at Ballinrobe (1¼m) in June and firmly back on track despite carrying her head awkwardly when second in 15-runner Navan (1m) handicap a fortnight ago. Same mark back up in trip.
Oscar Nominee
Won 9.5f Wolverhampton maiden on debut and good 2 lengths second to an improver in novice there in March. Failed to give her running making turf debut for new yard at Killarney on return a month ago but retains potential now handicapping.
Lady Arwen
Has been in the form of her life, winning 3 times since April and running well back at Galway last week despite another slow start. Still looks on a fair mark back handicapping and must be considered.
Rest Your Mind (IRE)
Had caught the eye on her final start in 2025/for the Kiely yard and was much improved for new yard when winning 8.3f Galway maiden on return last month, doing well to reel in one that got first run (he ran well next time). Should make her mark in handicaps.
Sanctijude (IRE)
Fairly useful filly who belatedly got off the mark in a 9-runner 1m maiden at Gowran in May under Billy Lee (back on here). Just fair runs in Curragh handicaps since but 3 lb drop will help and trainer continues in tremendous form.
Adrienne (IRE)
Back on the up when winning listed mares novice hurdle at Punchestown in April when last seen. Fairly weighted back in a Flat handicap on that showing (sixth in this on last run on the level a year ago) but might need it after 4½ months off fitted with new headgear.
Areana (IRE)
Much improved for this yard, winning twice last year and returning from 12 months off with a good third at Down Royal having been well backed, doing well to finish where she did after setting a sound pace. Same mark and one to be interested in back in trip.
Darkdeserthighway (IRE)
Left the impression she should have won when second in 22-runner handicap at Leopardstown in August and probably remains in form, unable to land a blow from where she was placed at Down Royal 11 days ago. Wouldn't rule out under good apprentice.
Eastern Peace (IRE)
Dundalk maiden winner last autumn and some promise in turf handicaps this season (shaped better than bare result at Leopardstown 2 starts ago). Has been dropped 4 lb and of interest in first-time cheekpieces with Shane Foley (on for her win) back on board.
Neo Smart (IRE)
Won at Dundalk in February and has been shaping up well in turf handicaps, catching the eye over 1½m at the Curragh last time. Down 2 lb and one to note with this shorter trip in her favour.
Sweet Baby Zou
Off the mark in Gowran handicap in June and good efforts under this apprentice the last twice, making her effort on a different side of the track to the winner when a well-backed second at Down Royal 11 days ago. Rider can claim full 7 lb again now and she's one to consider.
Annie's Angel (IRE)
Sole career success came in Galway maiden in October 2024 for Joseph O'Brien. Couple of fair efforts in handicap hurdles this summer but not so good in Galway handicap/Tramore handicap hurdle fitted with cheekpieces the last twice.
Lily Parr
Hit the frame in pair of 1½m maidens last autumn and ran well in Galway handicap in July. Unable to get competitive from a less-than-ideal position at Roscommon since and drops back markedly in trip now.
Chestnut Palace (IRE)
Fair maiden. Hit the frame again in first-time cheekpieces in handicap at Limerick (1½m) when last seen in June. Blinkers go on this time down in trip and she could have a small race in her.
