Exibição da Timeform

A wide-margin winner on her second start, STAR OF STATE was edged out only late on upped in grade for the Lowther at York and she looks to hold leading claims of doubling her tally. The biggest threat could come from Atlantic Bridge, who has been going the right way in his 3 starts, ahead of Treasurer.

Conselhos de Cash Out da Timeform

Star Of State traded at a low of 2.02 and Betfair SP of 3.70 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently and travelled strongly early on.

Comentários Timeform

Alpe D'huez (IRE)
Knew his job when landing the odds in a Lingfield novice in April and showed plenty when runner-up in the Woodcote at Epsom next time. However, was well held in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and only mid-field in sales race at Naas 6 weeks ago. Cheekpieces reached for.
Switching Sides (IRE)
Encouraging debut when runner-up in maiden here in May, before going one better at Fairyhouse the following month. Found things tougher when fifth of 7 in the Railway Stakes at this course last time, but he could fare better back down in grade.
Mehmas Star (IRE)
Shaped promisingly first time up when second in 11-runner novice at Carlisle 17 days ago, edged out only in the dying strides. Plenty more required in this contest, though he's one to note representing last year's winning trainer.
Treasurer (IRE)
Not ideally placed when mid-field in the Coventry at Royal Ascot on second outing, before getting off the mark in a Salisbury novice later in June. Down the field in 7f listed race back at Ascot 7 weeks ago, but he merits consideration with cheekpieces added (has been gelded).
Atlantic Bridge (IRE)
€300,000 2-y-o who continued his race-by-race progression when landing the odds in a 5f maiden at Navan 17 days ago. Scored with a bit to spare last time and he can make his presence felt back up in trip.
Ten Clarets (IRE)
Has made the frame all 4 starts but has been proving expensive to follow, beaten favourite for the third start running when third of 5 in nursery at Carlisle (1m) 17 days ago. One of 2 in the line-up for last year's winning yard.
Star Of State (IRE)
Confirmed debut promise with an impressive 9-length success in maiden at Leopardstown (6.5f) in July. Progressed again when runner-up in the Lowther at York and she remains an exciting prospect (Group 1 entered). The one to beat.
Knockcurra Dream (IRE)
Sent off at big odds (200/1) on debut and offered little when fourteenth of 16 in maiden at this course (7f) 22 days ago. Hood soon goes on.
Lord Ragnar (IRE)
Much improved on his third outing when making a successful all-weather debut at Newcastle (7f) in June. Got back on the up when going close in nursery at Southwell (7f) 17 days ago, though will need to find more again here.
September Duke
Made little impact on his first outing when eleventh of 15 in maiden at Roscommon (7.5f) in June. Looks one for the longer term.
The Windhover (IRE)
Foaled February 18. €12,000 foal, €28,000 yearling, Persian Force gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including 7.4f winner A War Eagle and 5f winner Pepper Streak. Faces a difficult task on debut.
Belle Vision (IRE)
Foaled March 29. €62,000 yearling, Dark Angel filly. Dam, 2-y-o 6f winner who was fourth in Irish 1000 Guineas, half-sister to useful sprinter Isabeau.
Fine Line (IRE)
Fared better than previously when fourth of 6 in nursery at Killarney (1m) last month. Wasn't disgraced when filling the same position in 10-runner contest at Down Royal (7f) 9 days ago, but looks to be up against it in this race.
She's Coul (IRE)
Foaled May 11. €75,000 yearling, Coulsty filly. Sister to smart 5f-6f winner Hammer The Hammer and 2-y-o 7f winner Crystal City, and half-sister to winner up to 6f Francisca Pink. Dam unraced. Fifth of 8 in a barrier trial at Leopardstown last month.
Killashee Supreme (IRE)
Foaled February 16. €36,000 yearling, Supremacy filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including smart winner up to 1m Popmaster and winner up to 7f Go Well Spicy. Dam 7f winner.
Sapphire Sun (IRE)
Showed promise on debut, faring second best of those to race down the centre when sixth of 15 in maiden at Naas 3 weeks ago. Tough ask in this contest, though.
