Exibição da Timeform

A big field but FORTY YEARS ON and Touleen stand out, the former narrowly preferred given her rate of progress. Copacabana Sands makes some each-way appeal on only her third start for Andrew Balding, while Darnation is an interesting contender back with Karl Burke.

Conselhos de Cash Out da Timeform

Forty Years On traded at a high of 2.86 and Betfair SP of 2.76 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field and travelled strongly early on: Touleen traded at a low of 1.84 and Betfair SP of 1.99 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Comentários Timeform

Royal Velvet
A dual 7f winner at Newmarket and Lingfield (Group 3) in the spring. Got back on track with fifth in Oak Tree Stakes at Glorious Goodwood but 3 lb penalty makes things tough.
American Gal
Has generally struggled since scoring at listed level at Chantilly last spring and she needs the change of yards to spark a huge revival.
Arabian Dusk
Group 2 winner as a juvenile and also reached the frame 3 times at pattern level last year. Proved she retains a large chunk of her ability tried in a tongue strap when third in listed race at Pontefract 4 weeks ago following a 13-month absence and she's entitled to come on for that.
Bellarchi (IRE)
Thrived during the first half of this season, recording her fourth win of the campaign in a listed event at Chester in June. However, she seems to have gone off the boil for now given her 2 subsequent efforts.
Canneza
Surprise winner of a listed event at Deauville 5 weeks ago but she needs to progress even more to trouble the principals here.
Copacabana Sands (IRE)
Group 3 winner at Leopardstown for former yard last summer. Not yet reached that level in 2 starts for current stable but no surprise if she fared better now back from a break.
Darnation (IRE)
Dominant winner of the May Hill here (1m) as a 2-y-o before going on to win the German 1000 Guineas the following season. Interesting contender back with her former yard after a brief and unsuccessful spell in Australia late last year.
Forty Years On (IRE)
Most progressive filly who has continued to blossom this year, taking her form to another level when winning handicaps at Newbury and Goodwood. Looks more than good enough for this level so big shout.
Magic Basma (IRE)
Winless since debut but she holds her form very well and ran up to her best when a close fourth in listed event at Chester last time. Likely to find a few too strong for her once again in this stronger race.
Pina Sonata
Lightly-raced 4-y-o who resumed with a career-best win in listed event at Kempton in March and, having bombed out at Epsom, she got back to that sort of form when fifth in Group 3 at Ascot 7 weeks ago. More needed to take a hand here, however.
Wannabe Royal (IRE)
Narrow winner of a listed race at Naas in May but she's probably no better than that having failed to reach that level on her next 2 starts.
Sukanya
Looked promising when seeing off Touleen in the Fred Darling at Newbury on return but she has failed to kick on since so she's easy to oppose under a penalty.
Domina Ignis (FR)
€300,000 breeze-up purchase who created a very favourable impression when making a winning debut at Southwell in November. Shaped well when third to Sukanya and Touleen in the Fred Darling at Newbury on return but well held in 1000 Guineas/Jersey Stakes next 2 starts and has been off since.
Golden Palace
Successful in novices at Beverley and York on first 2 starts as a juvenile but highly tried since and she looks firmly up against it once again.
Isle Of Fernandez
Improved third in a Deauville Group 3 on return and acquitted herself well when mid-field in the French 1,000 Guineas a month later but she was well held in the Oak Tree Stakes at Glorious Goodwood subsequently.
Planet Seeker
Looked a potential pattern performer when impressively making a successful handicap debut at Newmarket in July and she duly coped well with the step up to this grade when fourth in Oak Tree Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. Remains unexposed.
Ruby's Angel (IRE)
Ran up to her best when 4-length second in listed event at Pontefract last time but she's short of the required standard at this level.
Silenciosa (IRE)
Highly tried since making a winning debut at Southwell in December, her best effort coming when runner-up in a Sandown listed event on her penultimate start. Looks up against it again.
The Prettiest Star
Followed a debut win with a second in Group 2 Rockfel at Newmarket and returned with a good fourth of 19 to True Love in the 1000 Guineas there. Failed to fire in the Jersey at Royal Ascot but she got back on track when fifth in Group 3 at Deauville. Remains unexposed and return to 7f could suit.
Touleen
Highly-talented filly who looked a shade unlucky when second in Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, running on after meeting trouble. Proved a let-down in Group 3 there the following month but still the one to beat if bouncing back in first-time headgear.
