Exibição da Timeform

CHOU CHOU took a notable step back in the right direction when fourth at Gowran 3 weeks ago and now operating just 1 lb above the mark he defied at Clonmel this time last year, he could well be ready to strike reunited with Colin Keane. Duchess Anne, Perfect Judgement and Concaire are just a trio of others to consider in a competitive heat.

Comentários Timeform

Battle Borne (IRE)
Dundalk maiden winner (7f) in February who posted easily his best effort since when second in a 1m claimer there in May. However, exploits either side of that on turf have been disappointing. Drop in class a plus at least.
Dinamine (IRE)
Dual winner in 2025 who got back on the scoresheet in first-time cheekpieces at Naas (1m) in July. Not disgraced when seventh at Leopardstown (7f) next time but he does need to shrug off a lesser display when last of 13 at the Curragh (1m) 17 days ago.
Perfect Judgement (IRE)
Last 3 victories gained on all-weather but he arrives having run his best race of the season when second in a big-field handicap at Gowran (9.5f) 3 weeks ago. Return to 1m won't inconvenience him and he's one to consider if able to replicate that here.
Land Of The Giants (IRE)
His sole win from 25 starts came in 9f Ayr handicap in May but made the frame on 3 of his 7 starts since, minus usual hood when keeping on for fourth in a Gowran claimer over this trip 3 weeks ago. Not discounted returned to handicap company.
Blue Orquidea (IRE)
Nando Parrado filly who showed something like her debut form when sixth on qualifying run in a Gowran maiden (9.5f) 3 weeks ago. However, assessor has taken no chances with her opening mark on that evidence and more is required on handicap bow.
Wild Berries (IRE)
Acclamation filly who was left poorly placed when thirteenth in a big field at Leopardstown (9f) 4 weeks ago but just hasn't gone on as anticipated in handicaps this year in any case. Cheekpieces now reached for.
Concaire (IRE)
Low-mileage 3-y-o who went close in 7f Limerick handicap in June. Things didn't go his way at Down Royal since and worth another chance now trying 1m for the first time (should stay this far).
Giselles Defence (IRE)
Fair winner over 1¼m for Ian Williams last summer. Well below that level for current yard, including in a first-time tongue strap at Ballinrobe last time. Down another 3 lb but needs to display more positive signs before becoming of interest.
Virgil Tibbs (IRE)
Standout effort in maidens when sixth of 16 at Galway (1m) last summer. Struggled in handicaps thereafter but did at least take a step back in the right direction after 7 months off when seventh at Bellewstown (1m) in July. Now his task is to build on that effort.
Dress Dance (IRE)
€150,000 Dandy Man filly. Again made no impact (may have needed the run) upped in distance on handicap bow at Cork (10.5f, 22/1) in May. Longer trips quickly abandoned and now returns from 11 weeks off in cheekpieces/tongue strap.
Whosethebestboy (IRE)
Looked a poor maiden in 5 Flat runs for Charles Byrnes during 2025 and fared little better starting out for Ian Patrick Donoghue at Roscommon in May. Passed over now debuting for another new yard in a first-time hood.
Chou Chou (IRE)
Dual winner last year who took a notable step back in the right direction on fourth start back this season when fourth at Gowran (9.5f) 3 weeks ago. Lines up operating just 1 lb above the mark he defied at Clonmel 12 months ago and booking of Colin Keane an obvious plus. Shortlisted.
Zephron
9-y-o who has disappointed on 3 of his 4 starts so far this season and others arrive with much more pressing claims. Blinkers back on.
Cannonball Queen (IRE)
Cheekpieces on for first time when a good fourth of 17 in handicap at Leopardstown (7f, good to firm) 10 days ago. Needs to back it up now.
Duchess Anne (IRE)
Low-mileage 5-y-o maiden who turned in her best effort in handicaps to date when 2¼ lengths second of 13 at Gowran (9.5f, good to firm) 39 days ago. 3 lb higher here but capable of being in the mix if building on that.
Spiritofthedawn (IRE)
Showed very little in 3 starts in maidens and big step forward required now tackling a longer trip on handicap debut.
Yorkshire Myth
Ended time with Mick & David Easterby with a solid second at Wolverhampton in October but well held in pair of all-weather/turf starts 4 months apart for new stable. Passed over.
Marambo (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who has cut little ice in a trio of 1m handicaps so far this season. RESERVE.
Plastic Paddy
Multiple all-weather winner for Mick Appleby but lost way for present yard, pulled up all 4 starts over hurdles either side of finishing well beaten on the Flat at Bellewstown (1m) in July. RESERVE.
I'm Spartacus (IRE)
Multiple polytrack winner who justified support when gaining a belated first turf success at Fairyhouse (6f) in June. Has been well below that form since, never a threat over 6f at the Curragh 4 days ago. Significantly up in trip. RESERVE.
