Percival (FR)
€520,000 yearling who failed to live up to his price tag in France for Andre Fabre, winning only a maiden. Joined current connections for just 12,000 gns but stepped up on previous efforts when 1¼ lengths third of 6 to Tawajjah at Sandown 9 days ago. Claims if backing that up.
Epictetus (IRE)
Winless for 3 years but has been knocking on the door this season over a variety of trips, running as well as he has for a long time when neck second of 7 to Damascus Steel in 1½m lady riders handicap at Epsom last time.
Starlight Time
Winner of 2 of his 3 starts last year, landing the odds in a Chelmsford novice (1m) in November. Has offered little in 2 handicap starts this year, though, and has a fair bit to prove at present.
