On a long losing run and expensive to follow but shaping up so well of late. Beaten just a length off 8 lb higher in C&D handicap at this meeting last year and drops into a 0-70 now. Worth another chance.
Marta's Prince (IRE)
Trained in France last year and won 9f claimer at Clairefontaine. Little impact in 2 runs for new yard this summer but quickly given a chance by the handicapper.
San Aer (IRE)
Winless since October 2023 but added to his good record around here when well backed and finding just one too strong in 8.6f handicap on Tuesday. One to consider with Billy Lee booked.
Spent All Me Money (IRE)
Two wins over 7f last year but well beaten both starts in handicaps this season. Headgear back on with a bit to prove.
Storm Averted (IRE)
Won this last year off 4 lb lower (has form figures of 241 at Galway). Should have come on for return at Ballinrobe 6 weeks ago and could go well in first-time visor.
Bay Of Dreams (IRE)
Two wins in Britain for James Ferguson last year and back in top form for new yard (runners going well here this week), landing 1m Bellewstown handicap early in July before a good fifth here (San Aer second) on Tuesday. One to note with promising apprentice up and first-time headgear on.
The Sweet Escape
Notched up a third win of the year in 7.4f Beverley handicap 3 weeks ago. Can go well again in hat-trick bid.
Faoladh (IRE)
Scored at Down Royal in May but has quickly gone off the boil, well beaten again having gone off hard in a change of headgear here on Tuesday.
Lough Leane (IRE)
Hard to catch right but scored in 9.6f handicap at Bellewstown in May and ran respectably there last time. Work to do down in trip in this tougher race.
Navagio (IRE)
On long losing run and never involved reverting to more patient tactics at the Curragh 10 weeks ago. On a tempting mark and yard's runners going well here this week.
Rhythm King (IRE)
Winner of a heavy-ground C&D handicap on reappearance in autumn 2024. Well backed and ran well from the front over 8.6f here on Tuesday (San Aer second) but well held upped to 1½m on Thursday and set for his third run of the week.
Chester Nimitz (IRE)
Maiden winner for Noel Meade in October. Not seen to best effect in handicaps first 3 starts for new yard but disappointing dropped to a 0-70 at Fairyhouse last time and tongue strap now reached for.
Gloriously Glam (IRE)
Back to winning ways in claiming company at Gowran in May and ran well back in that grade when chasing home Minaun View at Bellewstown 4 weeks ago. Starts out for new yard now.
Mytimetoshine (IRE)
Standout effort when third in heavy-ground C&D maiden in October. That form has a solid look to it and he's of some interest on handicap debut/return. Yard had a winner who was returning from 7 months off recently.
Buttermere Ridge (IRE)
Without a win (including over hurdles) since his successful debut at Gowran in April 2024, beaten 1½ lengths by Minaun View in Bellewstown claimer 4 weeks ago. New headgear tried.
Minaun View
Been in fine form in claimers, making all at Bellewstown and Killarney and finishing second at Ballinrobe a fortnight ago. Not dismissed back in a handicap. RESERVE.
Mickey The Steel
Winless since 2024 but has been placed 5 times this season, including at Leopardstown (7f) 6 weeks ago. Should give his running again. RESERVE.
La La Lucrative (IRE)
Back to his best this season, winning 7f handicaps at Listowel and Roscommon. Should remain competitive after 8 lb rise. RESERVE.
