AMANTHA seemed to be caught out by the stiff finish at Beverley having looked in command for most of the way and can get her head back in front returned to the scene of her selling success. Bigalo was second off this mark at Catterick last month and is second choice ahead of Tiger In The Tree, who was a place behind the selection at Beverley.

Amantha (IRE)
Capitalised on the drop into selling company when scoring over C&D (good to firm) last month. Looked in command for most of way (collared final strides) in 7.5f Beverley nursery since and can resume winning ways back at a bare 7f.

Reacted well to blinkers when reaching the frame in maidens at Carlisle and Newcastle last month but ran no sort of race on Leicester nursery debut since.

Thrice-raced maiden. Third of 10 in novice at Ayr (7f, good to firm, 50/1) 25 days ago. Makes handicap debut from what looks a competitive mark.

Edged out by Amantha in a C&D seller (good to firm) last month but well held on Thirsk nursery debut last Friday. Bounce back needed.
