JEDHI KNIGHT stepped up on his return when finding only one too strong at Pontefract earlier in the month and having been nudged up just 1 lb, Paul Midgley's 4-y-o is fancied to go one better at the expense of Sophiesticate, who has gradually found her feet for new connections. Falaise Blanc may prove best of the remainder.

Long-standing maiden who continues below his 2025 level, most recently on first start for new connections when sixth of 10 at Ayr (1¼m, good to firm) earlier in the month. Back up in trip and hopes pinned on first-time cheekpieces/tongue tie sparking a revival.
Gemini Man (IRE)
Winner in classified company at Newcastle early last month before completing double in this grade at this track. Found to have bled in hat-trick bid but ran poorly without an obvious excuse back on all-weather last time and comes with risks attached.
Jedhi Knight
Ffos Las winner last summer for Jedd O'Keeffe. Form when the wrong way in 3 starts over hurdles (trained by Harry Derham on first 2 occasions) but more like it following a breathing operation in recent weeks, second of 11 at Pontefract (1½m, good) earlier in the month. Considered.
Sophiesticate (IRE)
Ended losing run here last summer for Jim Goldie. Gradually found her feet for new yard and has finished third last 3 starts, most recently in 10-runner event at Ayr (1¼m, firm) 11 days ago. Back up in trip and her consistency is tough to knock.
Storm On Jura
NON RUNNER.
Ivynator (IRE)
Maiden hurdler who has offered little on the Flat for current yard, though can have her latest effort in first-time cheekpieces at Newcastle ignored (never dangerous having been hampered early).
Yakhabar
Ready winner at Southwell in March and made the frame 3 of next 4 outings. Ran creditably without ever really landing a blow when third of 7 in classified event at Pontefract (1½m, good) a fortnight ago and probably best to look elsewhere in reapplied blinkers.
Falaise Blanc (FR)
Just the one win to his name but has been runner-up in 3 of his last 4 starts, most recently in 6-runner event at this course (12.5f, good to firm) last month. In the mix again.
Liberty Looming (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who hasn't shown form for some time, pulled up having rejoined this yard in handicap hurdle at Southwell (2m, good) on return in May. Can only be watched back on the level.
Star Of Markinch (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who had little chance from a long way out of the handicap here last time. Hard to make a good case for even though she can run off her proper mark here.
