Much improved when making a winning handicap chase debut at Leopardstown in December. Backed that up when third in a stronger race there in February but rather tame finishes in Grand Annual at Cheltenham/Topham at Aintree since. Stamina an obvious concern over this far.
Jalila Moriviere (FR)
Easily landed the odds in a mares' maiden at Sligo on chase bow and good runner-up efforts at Punchestown both starts this season, though couldn't get the job done after trading odds-on in running last time.
Ballybawn Belter (IRE)
Won at Limerick over Christmas. Mixed record since and handicapper probably in control at present.
Littlefoot (IRE)
Has take well to chasing, winning twice, including at Kilbeggan on handicap debut in this sphere in May. Seemed not to relish the return to hurdling there next time (jumped none too fluently). Change of headgear.
Intense Approach
Useful 3m winning hurdler. Made a winning start over fences in C&D maiden at this meeting last year but lost his way after. Never dangerous on belated Flat debut after 4 months off 29 days ago. Change of headgear.
Kings Hill (IRE)
Useful hurdler at his best and capitalised on a lower chase mark at Limerick in March. Good placed efforts next 2 starts, beaten only by a a rejuvenated rival at Roscommon last month. Had a spin on the Flat 11 days ago. Headgear applied.
Yoradreamer
Winner of a maiden chase at Wexford in the spring but has yet to build on that, alarmingly easy to back when well held in listed handicap at Kilbeggan 3 weeks ago.
Moonovercloon (IRE)
On a lengthy losing run (trained by Matthew J. Smith before latest start) and disappointed despite a prominent position in the betting in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan last month. Sports a first-time visor back over fences.
A Penny A Hundred (FR)
Just a maiden success to her name over fences and below par for a good while now, making little impact back from 6 months off at Roscommon 53 days ago.
Shanbally Kid (IRE)
Useful chaser at best but failed to complete on last 3 starts for Willie Mullins. Shaped a bit better starting out for this yard in listed handicap at Kilbeggan 3 weeks ago though he ended up having a hard race.
Rising Dust (IRE)
Made it 5 wins for the season at Thurles in January. Not disgraced off revised mark in Ladbrokes Trophy at Kempton following month before shaping as if needing the run back from a break at Kilbeggan. Tongue strap applied.
Where's My Jet (IRE)
Useful winning hurdler but has become disappointing over fences and still yet to convince over this far.
A Law Of Her Own (IRE)
Mixed record last season but looked as good as ever when winning over hurdles at Punchestown when last seen in October (final start for Peter Fahey). Forced into better company now back over fences and new yard has upped her significantly in trip. Tongue strap on and cheekpieces replace visor.
Baltic Bird
Made a successful chase debut at Down Royal last spring but in and out since. Likely to find this too competitive. Change of headgear/tongue strap back on.
Donnie Devito (IRE)
Dual hurdles winner, including a novice at this meeting 2 years ago. Not quite so good over fences last season but shaped well after 7 months off when third in maiden at Wexford 4 weeks ago. Makes handicap debut in this sphere.
Hermino Aa (FR)
Useful at best for Gary & Josh Moore and showed easily his best form since joining current connections when winning at Roscommon 53 days ago, responding well to a change of headgear under this rider. Remains well treated on old hurdles form.
Warriors Wood
Won 2 of his 5 hurdle starts last year. Improved over fences since, winning and placing twice at Kilbeggan. Decent effort back hurdling at Killarney 2 weeks ago
Antrim Coast (IRE)
Runner-up 3 times last summer, including in this race off 2 lb higher. Yet to fully fire in 2 starts for this yard but probably needed comeback run at Wexford 4 weeks ago.
Rexem (IRE)
Good placed efforts last 2 of 3 starts and might have shaded the verdict had the full quota of fences been jumped at Kilbeggan last week. Shortlisted.
Charlie Luciano (IRE)
Had completely lost his form but looked every bit as good as ever when landing an ordinary maiden chase at Kilbeggan 3 weeks ago. Potentially on a good mark back in a handicap so needs considering.
Lord Lariat (IRE)
Won Irish Grand National in his pomp but has been lightly raced and largely out of sorts since. RESERVE.
El Champo (IRE)
Won twice over fences in 2025 but comes here well below par, a remote fourth back chasing at Punchestown 54 days ago. RESERVE.
