Exibição da Timeform

AUTUMN TWIST was better than ever over hurdles earlier this month and is well drawn to capitalise on a handy Flat mark. Hat-trick seeking Rodeo Blues is feared most for connections who won this corresponding event 12 months ago. Annie's Angel could be the pick of the rest in an ultra-competitive renewal.

Conselhos de Cash Out da Timeform

Justenzia traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts: Western Bandit traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Comentários Timeform

Arch Enemy (IRE)
Capitalised on a reduced mark on return at Navan (1¼m) before doing well to defy a penalty at Killarney (11.5f) last time. Again partnered by good-value claimer, but will need to pull out more to make it a hat-trick back up in grade.
Autumn Twist (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler who is best not judged on his 2 most recent Flat starts. Career-best effort over hurdles when close second at Bellewstown last time. Down to an attractive mark in this sphere and looks very interesting with usual cheekpieces back on.
Dark Summit
Fairly useful maiden winner over 1m last year in France. Spell in the doldrums has seen his mark fall a long way for current connections and not at best when eighth over extended 1m here on Tuesday. Stamina to prove now tried over markedly longer trip.
Justenzia (IRE)
Wore cheekpieces when runner-up in pair of handicaps to start this season. Well held in trio of starts without headgear last month and interesting that cheekpieces go back on now dropped into a 0-70. Draw could have been kinder, though.
Pahlavi (IRE)
Modest winning hurdler. Ran no sort of race in first-time blinkers over hurdles last time. Usual cheekpieces go back on but hard to be confident switched to a handicap on first Flat start for over 3 years.
Showyoutheropes (IRE)
Won a 3-y-o Newmarket handicap in this grade (off 2 lb higher) last August. Encouraging signs for current yard on the all-weather in the spring. One to consider following a creditable pipe-opener at Tramore earlier this month.
Annie's Angel (IRE)
Sole career success came here in 2024. Fairly useful form when runner-up 3 times in handicaps last year for Joseph Patrick O'Brien. Hinted at a revival on the Flat for current yard before a couple of solid runs in handicap hurdles in recent months. Could be on a handy mark back in this sphere.
Baila Conmigo (IRE)
Better than ever when notching a third Dundalk success of the year (1½m) last time. Not as effective on turf (0-8), though.
Berto Ramirez
Borderline fairly useful Flat maiden. Fair winner of Down Royal maiden hurdle for current yard in May. Didn't run much of race in the face of stiff task over hurdles latest. Freshened up ahead of his return to the level and is weighted to be competitive down in grade.
Speckled Meadow (IRE)
Course winner who landed a comfortable success in a 1¼m Naas handicap in better company last October. Still 6 lb above that mark but has been running creditably of late. Appeals dropped in grade, though stall 21 tempers confidence (caught wide here last year).
Day Trader (FR)
Fairly useful winner on Flat in France. Fair maiden hurdle winner. Hasn't offered much on Flat for current yard, latest when not seen to best effect in Northumberland Vase. Drops in grade and needs a close look in the betting given who trains him.
Rhythm King (IRE)
Winner of a heavy-ground 7f course handicap on reappearance in autumn 2024. Back on the same mark having been largely out of sorts in 2025 and not disgraced returning from 9 months off when sixth over an extended 1m here on Tuesday. Stamina to prove at this trip, though.
Western Bandit (IRE)
Low-mileage 4-y-o. Fair form in maidens. Well beaten in conditions race at Limerick (6.5f) earlier this month. Switches to a handicap off 7 lb lower than his opening mark, though isn't a guaranteed stayer over a significantly longer trip.
Faro Island
Relatively lightly raced 4-y-o. Struggled both starts (latterly in blinkers) since doubling his tally at Gowran (9.5f) last month. Should fare better back in calmer waters with usual cheekpieces refitted.
Jujubella (IRE)
Strong-travelling second at Newcastle last month before running to similar level when 3¼ lengths third at Hamilton (11f) latest. English raider is still 5 lb lower than the last of her 4 wins in 2025 and should appreciate the bigger field/stronger pace here.
Lily Parr
Lightly-raced 4-y-o hit the frame in pair of 1½m maidens last autumn. Yet to get competitive 4 starts in handicap company, though does at least drop back down in grade following a pipe-opener at Roscommon in mid-May.
Oust
Low-mileage 3-y-o. Made a positive start in handicaps with in-frame finishes at Roscommon/Down Royal. Did plenty on the front end when well beaten at Tramore latest, though addition of first-time tongue strap suggests he wasn't 100% physically.
Rodeo Blues (IRE)
Blue Point filly who is improving in leaps and bounds in handicaps. Always holding on when landing a double at Naas (11f) last time, despite still looking rough around the edges. Could be more to come over this longer trip (dam stayed 1½m) and a hat-trick looks a distinct possibility.
Quiz Test (IRE)
Has plenty of creditable in-frame finishes to his name, including close third over C&D last September. Finished ahead of a couple of subsequent winners when third at Limerick (17f) latest. Overall strike rate (1-23) and wide draw give some pause, though. RESERVE.
Blackjack Hills (IRE)
Fitted with blinkers when winning handicaps at Gowran and Dundalk on final 2 outings last year. Headgear back on when going close behind a well-treated one at Leopardstown (1¼m) second time up this season. Well worth another go at 1½m and solid claims if lining up. RESERVE
Nancee Spain (IRE)
Wide-margin winner under an aggressive ride at Roscommon (soft) last October. Beaten 6½ lengths in a better race when last seen at Gowran in early-April. Not ruled returning in first-time blinkers, with any rainfall likely to aid her chances. RESERVE.
