Made second start for this yard a winning one at Bath (1¾m, good to firm) last month. Has suffered 2 defeats at Chester since but Oisin Murphy tends to be a good booking for the yard.
Fair Dinkum (IRE)
The second leg of an autumn double last year came over C&D. Respectable efforts over 1½m here last 2 outings and the return to 1¾m looks more suitable.
Mountbatten (GER)
Improved as expected for a much longer trip making a mockery of his opening handicap mark at Southwell (1½m) last month. Possibly found the run coming too soon when turned over on Yarmouth turf debut 8 days later and given another chance with blinkers added. NON RUNNER.
Masterdream (FR)
Three chase wins in the first half of last season. Not disgraced in a couple of handicaps on the Flat last summer and he returns to the level off a decent run over hurdles at the beginning of July.
Blue Siam (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who was a fair third back on the Flat at Bath (1¾m, firm) in a first-time visor (retained) last week but she was beaten 7 lengths and the suspicion is the wait for a first win will go on.
