Chally Chute also returns from an absence but can't be dismissed easily given his fine form for Ross O'Sullivan in 2025, while Happy Paraoah and 2023 winner Lafayette also need factoring into this cracking listed event.

Proved a revelation for his new yard last season and made it 2-3 in 10-runner Loughbrown Stakes at the Curragh (2m) in November by 3½ lengths from The Shunter. Off 7 months but can make presence felt.
Cristal Clere (IRE)
Useful gelding. 40/1, 22¼ lengths last of 9 to Purview in listed race at the Curragh (1½m) 27 days ago. Uphill task here.
Leinster (IRE)
Impressive winner of the Irish Leger trial at the Curragh in August. Has run well both starts this term when fourth to Scandinavia in listed race at Navan and Saval Beg Levmoss Stakes at Leopardstown (1¾m). No forlorn hope for in-form yard.
Arouet (FR)
Won at Roscommon in May 2025 before a good second in a Leopardstown listed race last summer. Ready winner of a maiden hurdle at Cork last month and posted a solid third in listed event at the Curragh last time. Cheekpieces on again here.
Happy Pharoah (IRE)
Smart gelding. Gelded before posting a good ½-length second of 6 to Scandinavia in Saval Beg Levmoss Stakes at Leopardstown (1¾m) 35 days ago. Stable in good form. One to consider.
Layfayette (IRE)
Useful gelding. 9/1, creditable 2¼ lengths second of 5 to Carmers in listed race at Down Royal (2m) 21 days ago. Back down in trip but took this in 2023 so is in the mix.
Sunchart
Useful dual-purpose performer but he came in last of 7 to Scandinavia in listed race at Navan (1¾m) 55 days ago. Bounce back is needed.
Uxmal (IRE)
Very useful winning stayer at his best but lightly raced in recent seasons and off since a well-beaten fifth in Loughbrown Stakes at the Curragh (2m) 7 months ago. Needs to hit the ground running.
Goodie Two Shoes (IRE)
Smart mare who has developed a fine strike rate on the Flat, completing a hat-trick last summer in Group 3 Stanerra Stakes at Fairyhouse. Signed off for 2025 with an excellent second of 24 in Melbourne Cup (Handicap) at Flemington (2m) in November. Yard is going really well so she's the one to beat.
Bubble Gum (FR)
Useful mare. 50/1 and blinkered for 1st time, respectable 3¼ lengths sixth of 10 to Isaac Newton in listed race at Navan (9f) 12 days ago. Cheekpieces are tried now.
That's Amore (IRE)
Lightly-raced sort who resumed with win in 11f Southwell novice in March. 5¾ lengths last of 6 to See The Fire in listed race at Nottingham (1¼m) 54 days ago. Up in trip. English raider with plenty to find on form.
New Zealand (IRE)
Useful colt. Blinkered for 1st time, 9¼ lengths third of 5 to Limestone in listed race at Navan (13f) 34 days ago. Cheekpieces go on this time.
