Doctor Dino gelding. Showed plenty when 2½ lengths second of 16 to Solly's Gold in listed bumper at Cheltenham (17f, good, 28/1) on debut in January. Interesting to see if he can repeat that on the Flat.
Joanna Hiffernan
25/1, showed more than first time up when fourth of 5 in maiden at Windsor (11.4f, good to firm) 24 days ago. Needs this run for a handicap mark.
Al Maslool
Has yet to better just fair form in 5 starts. Gelded and in first-time blinkers when down the field on handicap debut at Sandown 6 days ago, not looking straightforward. Back in maiden company with questions to answer and has the cheekpieces on now.
Argenteus
25,000 gns yearling, 50,000 gns 2-y-o, Nathaniel gelding. Dam was a listed winning half-sister to a couple of smart sorts. Makes plenty of appeal on paper though market probably best guide on debut.
Cape Fear
Made frame on all 4 starts this season, latest when second of 6 in maiden at Redcar (1¼m, good to firm) 23 days ago. Is becoming expensive to follow and may prove vulnerable kept to maiden company.
Moon Zabeel
22,000 gns yearling, Palace Pier colt. Half-brother to several winners, including high-class 1m-12.4f winner Avilius and very smart 9f/1¼m winner Saint Baudolino. Makes appeal on paper but was a rather cheap purchase given pedigree.
Golden Step
Finished third on both starts albeit finished well held, though can be excused her latest run at Ripon having become unbalanced on the track. Remains capable of better.
