It's hard to put much confidence in a 16-race maiden but REPOSADO had been shaping up well in huge-field handicaps prior to his latest Dundalk flop and with that effort easy to put a line through, Robson De Aguiar's 4-y-o earns the tentative vote. Faoladh doubled his tally at Down Royal recently and he can give the selection most to think about, with Goal Exceeded and Loingseoir taken to fight out minor honours.

Out of sorts when last seen in the autumn and can only be watched on return. First-time visor applied.
Perfect Base (IRE)
In cheekpieces, reportedly lame in maiden at Down Royal (7.1f, good to soft) when last seen 8 months ago (fourth past the post but subsequently disqualified as rider failed to weigh in). Handicap debut.
Send Harry (IRE)
Posted several good efforts in 2025, including when winning at Dundalk in September, but has shaped as if in need of the run on both starts this year and needs to step up to feature.
Apache Outlaw (IRE)
Nineteen runs since last win in 2024. Showed enough to think he might be worth persevering with at a similar level when sixth of 13 in handicap at Listowel (6.3f, good) 18 days ago. Cheekpieces that were left off last time are reapplied.
Ardeur
Yet to show much for this yard, including after 6 months off at Gowran in April.
Phoenix Pairc (IRE)
Won a maiden at Dundalk in October but ran poorly there on next 2 starts. Returns from 6 months off and others looks stronger.
Reposado
Had been running well in huge-field handicaps but was unable to slot in from a high draw when eighth of 9 in maiden (11/4) at Dundalk (5f) just over 3 weeks ago. Back up markedly in trip and worth chancing to belatedly open his account.
Loingseoir (IRE)
Winner over 7f at the Curragh last October and ran a typical race when fourth of 12 at this course (7f, soft) last week. Very much the type that needs things to fall right, though the likely strong pace should suit here.
Navagio (IRE)
On long losing run and never involved reverting to more patient tactics when fourteenth of 19 at the Curragh (1m, good to firm) 25 days ago. Hood reapplied but strike rate tempers enthusiasm.
Free Solo (IRE)
Course winner but yet to fire this season, sixth of 12 at this course (7f, soft) last week. Not easy to make a case for.
Goal Exceeded
Wasted no time getting back to form with a useful claimer taking over when third of 8 at Cork (7f, soft) last month. Handicapper drops him a generous 3 lb and fancied to be involved.
Mickey The Steel
Winless since 2024 but has made the frame several times recently. Ran one of this season's lesser races despite having been well positioned when seventh of 21 at Navan (5f, good) 11 days ago but can get back on track returned to 7f.
Hexagonal (IRE)
Still looking for first success but found some improvement when good second over longer trip at Ballinrobe. Backed that up when fourth in a big field at the Curragh next time but not so good at Limerick (1m) last week.
Irish Rumour (IRE)
On long losing run but stepped up on reappearance when second of 20 in handicap at the Curragh (6.3f, good) just over 2 weeks ago, the well-treated winner already gone by the time she hit full stride. Upped 6 lb for that effort but her turn could be near.
Caffu Zafeen (IRE)
Maiden who was below form on first outing since leaving David Simcock after 12 months off when eighteenth of 21 at Navan (5f, good) 11 days ago. Hood back on for the first time since his debut and returns to 7f for the first time in ages.
Eichan San (IRE)
Yet to win and might not be the most straightforward of rides but again left the impression he has more to offer from a slipping mark when fifth of 20 at the Curragh (6.3f, good) just over 2 weeks ago. Worth keeping an eye on.
