Exibição da Timeform

A new-look Windsor Castle designed to strengthen the middle-distance and staying horse divisions. Preference is for CONTROLLA, who ran a remarkable race pitched straight into pattern company when finding only Victorious (leading contender for the Queen Mary earlier on the card) too strong at Naas. Ballydoyle have a strong recent record in this and Sergei Diaghilev rates as a significant threat, while Joseph O'Brien looks to have a strong hand and One Number may prove best of his trio.

Comentários Timeform

A Bear Affair (IRE)
Kodi Bear colt who knew what was required when providing his trainer with a third Brocklesby in 5 years in March. That form hasn't really worked out, and he failed to meet expectations when down the field in a listed race at Sandown (5f, good) just under 3 weeks ago. Now upped in trip.
Agitator
Cracksman colt who left debut form well behind to open his account in 12-runner maiden at Windsor (6f, good to firm) last month, responding well to assert final 100 yds. Likely to progress further but he'll need another significant step forward to get involved.
Alfred Wallace
Dubawi colt out of a 4-time Group 1 winner. Knew more than on debut and clearly benefited from the longer trip when winning 10-runner novice at Thirsk (7f, good) last month. Has a way to go to live up to his pedigree but looks sure to go on improving.
Alpe D'huez (IRE)
Kodi Bear colt who knew his job when landing odds in 7-runner novice at Lingfield (6f) in April. Showed plenty of ability again when second of 13 in Woodcote Stakes at Epsom (6f, good to soft) 12 days ago and he remains with potential.
Boleto (IRE)
Wootton Bassett colt who made a winning start despite obvious inexperience in 7-runner maiden at Pontefract (6f, good) just over a fortnight ago, edging a tight finish despite going markedly right under pressure. Open to improvement.
Celeron
Mohaather colt who proved easy to back but knew his job when winning 13-runner maiden at the Curragh (6f, good) on debut a fortnight ago by 2 lengths from One Number, asserting final 100 yds. Entitled to progress.
Charted Course
Palace Pier colt who was an expensive buy at the breeze-ups and showed plenty to work on despite being a bit uneasy as favourite when second of 6 in novice at Haydock (6f, soft) just under 4 weeks ago, leading briefly last ½f. Sure to have learnt plenty from that and will improve.
Dance A Jig
Naval Crown colt who finished runner-up to A Bear Affair in Brocklesby Stakes at Doncaster then again filled that position in 3-runner conditions stakes at this course (5f, good to firm) early last month, just finding the better-positioned winner a bit too clued up. More needed here.
Dorigo (IRE)
Space Blues colt who showed promise when second of 7 in maiden at Newcastle (6f, 9/1) on debut last month, headed entering final 1f having made most. Entitled to progress but will need to do so significantly to figure.
Green Sovereign
Lope Y Fernandez colt who left debut form well behind and was fairly impressive in 9-runner maiden at Pontefract (6f, good to soft) last month, regardless that he had the perfect trip up the inside and hung across the track when in control. Will go on improving.
Ischgl (IRE)
Proving consistent rather than progressive in maidens so far, making the frame for a third time in as many starts when second of 11 at Listowel (6.3f, good) last month. Very tough to see him involved.
King Of Cloughan (IRE)
St Mark's Basilica colt who again shaped well when second of 7 in maiden at Leopardstown (7f, good) last month, just unable to hold off a stronger stayer having looked all over a winner turning for home. Remains open to improvement and this return to 6f looks a good move.
One Number (USA)
Jack Christopher colt who shaped very well when 2 lengths second of 13 to Celeron in maiden at the Curragh (6f, good) on debut a fortnight ago, the only one of those held up to land any sort of blow. Sure to improve and seemingly yard's first string on jockey bookings.
Our Boy Bailey (IRE)
Bayside Boy gelding who showed plenty to work on first time up when second of 10 in maiden at Roscommon (7.5f, good) last month. Dropped to a sprint trip immediately and he's open to improvement.
Ruler's Control (IRE)
Territories colt who attracted support and knew job when winning 7-runner maiden at the Curragh (5f, heavy) on debut back in March, just lasting home having gone on entering final 1f. Has since joined powerful connections and is open to improvement.
Sale Shark (IRE)
Bayside Boy colt who was favoured by the betting over those with experience and showed why when winning 6-runner maiden at Hamilton (5f, firm) 3 weeks ago, quickening to lead entering final 1f. Open to a fair amount of improvement with Murphy booked to ride.
Sergei Diaghilev (IRE)
Wootton Bassett colt who justified odds-on favouritism in 8-runner maiden at the Curragh (6f, good to firm) last month, leading over 1f out. Sure to progress and demands considerable respect for connections who have won this race 3 times in the past 11 years.
Victory Gold (IRE)
Space Blues colt who went the wrong way from his debut despite enjoying an experience edge over nearly all his rivals when fourth of 8 in maiden at Leicester (6f, firm) just over 3 weeks ago. First-time hood goes on.
Wild Terrain
Territories colt who made a winning start at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) last month. Towards the head of the betting but failed to handle the track when twelfth of 13 in Woodcote Stakes at Epsom (6f, good to soft) 12 days ago. First-time blinkers now reached for.
Controlla (IRE)
Night of Thunder filly who ran a remarkable race pitched straight into pattern company when neck second of 6 to Victorious in Group 3 at Naas (6f, good to soft) on debut last month, though chance she might have been a bit flattered having challenged closest to stand rail. Clear pick on form.
Freedom Flame (IRE)
Kodi Bear filly who showed improved form to get off the mark switched to turf in 9-runner maiden at Redcar (6f, good to firm) just over 3 weeks ago. First-time hood goes on and she'll need to improve significantly to have a say.
Harlequin Sky (IRE)
Dubawi Legend filly who had shaped quite well on debut and wasn't seen to best effect switched to all-weather/upped in trip when fifth of 6 in novice at Wolverhampton (7f) last month, weakening when badly hampered final 1f. Remains with potential.
Moonrise (IRE)
Churchill filly who made a winning start to her career in 5-runner novice at Kempton (6f) 3 weeks ago, making all to score in cosy fashion. Looks sure to progress and win more races.
On The Queue Tee
Massaat filly who knew her job when third of 6 in maiden at Salisbury (5f, good to soft) on debut last month. Matched that form when fourth of 5 in novice at Bath (5f, good to firm) 8 days later but is out of her depth in this.
Troublesome Guest (IRE)
Kodi Bear filly who didn't shape at all badly when third of 7 in novice at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) on debut last month. Entitled to progress but this is a completely different kettle of fish.
