ALOBAYYAH is still unexposed and couldn't have shaped much better granted her disadvantageous track position over C&D last time. She's fancied to reverse form with the pair that finished ahead of her and take this competitive event. Miss Nightfall ran well at this meeting last season and is very interesting with the benefit of a positive draw, whilst top-weight Stateira is also appealing reverting to handicap company after a fine effort in a Group 2 last time.

Comentários Timeform

Stateira (FR)
Successful at Newcastle on 3 of her last handicap 4 starts, returning from a break with a straightforward success in a valuable event there on Good Friday. Confirmed her effectiveness on turf and was unlucky not to finish closer still when third in a Curragh Group 2 (1m) last month. Respected.
Sand Gazelle
Improved form when making all in listed race at York (1¼m, good) last summer and good second in Group 3 at the Curragh next time. Below par at Group 2/listed level both starts so far this season, but mark looks workable if first-time blinkers spark a revival on this belated handicap debut.
Muddy Mooy (IRE)
Excellent second in listed event at Chantilly last July on her final outing for Paul Attwater. Returned from 9 months off with a good third in Kempton listed contest (1¼m) in April and was out of her depth in the Gordon Richards Stakes last time but others make more appeal back in a handicap.
Cheshire Dancer (IRE)
Better than ever in 2025, the highlight being a narrow success in 1m Group 3 here in July. Shaped as if still needing the outing when 8¾ lengths fifth of 8 in a listed race at Haydock (10.5f, good to soft) 25 days ago but would need to step up markedly on that to land a handicap of this nature.
Gaga Girl (FR)
Made a winner return at Compiegne in April and proved better than ever when ¾-length second of 10 to Anakova in listed race at Longchamp (1m, soft) 34 days ago. Well drawn but probably needs a couple of her rivals to falter if she's to get seriously involved.
American Gal
Took her record to 3 from 4 when scoring at listed level at Chantilly last spring and was a good second to Cheshire Dancer here later in the season. No real impact on her last 4 outings, though, so bit to prove on handicap debut.
Betty Clover
Highly tried since winning a listed race at York at 2 and though she shaped as if still in decent form when 10¾ lengths fourth of 7 to Sparks Fly in Princess Elizabeth Stakes (22/1) at Epsom (8.5f, good to soft) 11 days ago, her mark looks on the stiff side having just a second handicap start.
Radiant Beauty
Progressed well when a 4-time winner (around 7f/1m) in 2025 and confirmed herself as still on the up when taking 9-runner handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 39 days ago by 2½ lengths from Song N Dance. Had run of the race there, though, so might need more again from 6 lb higher mark.
Rhapsody (IRE)
Improved when coming from rear to land a York handicap (9f) in September and matched that form when a close third in a listed race at Milan the following month, but this looks a very stiff task on return from 8 months off.
Alobayyah
Has made the track only 3 times since a winning debut in October 2024 but she arguably shaped best when 2½ lengths third of 9 to Radiant Beauty in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) last month, nearest at the finish having been left with plenty to do. Can improve again and makes plenty of appeal.
Miss Nightfall
Good fifth in an 18-runner Group 3 at Doncaster in September and though she failed to land a blow in listed company on her next 3 starts, she weakened only late after chasing down a pair that got first run at Yarmouth last time. Ran well over C&D in the Sandringham last year and she's shortlisted.
Zgharta (IRE)
Progressive in handicaps last season after landing 1¼m Newmarket maiden in May. Not seen to best effect in a slowly-run race behind Radiant Beauty over C&D on her return and she's still the type to do better again, for all low draw isn't ideal.
Seren Star (IRE)
Progressive 3-time winner in 2025 who looked rusty when third of 8 in handicap at Hamilton (9f, good to firm) 31 days ago. Tongue tie goes on and she should come on for that outing.
Crystal Flyer
Highly tried after winning Southwell handicap over 1½m on last year's return. Tailed off in listed race at Goodwood (1½m, good) on yard debut/reappearance and was ridden too aggressively at Hamilton last time, but all of her best form comes over much longer trips. New headgear.
Oolong Poobong (IRE)
Continued to improve last season, winning at Haydock before a fine effort upped to this trip in the Sandringham over C&D, not so well placed as a couple who beat her. Not given a hard time when fifth at Thirsk (1m) on return fitted with tongue tie, though low draw here has to temper enthusiasm.
Rumba Numba
Has improved with every start in a light career to date, producing a useful effort after 10 months off to win a 5-runner handicap at Doncaster (1m, firm) 12 days ago, Big-field scenario should suit given her strong-travelling style and she enters calculations from 4 lb higher.
All Moonshine
Progressive filly, completing a hat-trick on her handicap debut at Kempton in February. Likely better still to come, though this is her first start on turf and it's a competitive environment to be pitched into after 126 days off.
Perfect Part (IRE)
Useful handicapper who returned with a good fourth in Spring Mile at Doncaster and against several unexposed rivals, proved at least as good as ever when second of 11 at Thirsk (1m, good, 15/2) 17 days ago. Not ruled out.
Unassuming (FR)
C&D winner last summer and proved pretty reliable on all-weather thereafter, scoring at Wolverhampton in October. Poorly drawn when last seen at Lingfield in April but might prove a shade vulnerable here.
Song N Dance
Ended 2025 with back-to-back 7f/1m wins Leicester and Newcastle. Took another step forward when a strong-travelling second of 6 at Southwell (1m) on her return in April and ran at least as well with the benefit of a handy position when second to Radiant Beauty at C&D last time. Up another 1 lb here.
Callianassa (IRE)
All 4 wins on all-weather, the latest on reappearance at Newcastle (1m). Respectable efforts in defeat since, including when upped in trip to finish sixth of 11 in handicap at Chester (10.3f, good to firm, 66/1) 40 days ago. Others look better treated from 1 lb out of the weights.
Goldilocks Cen
Teofilo filly out of a Group 3 winning dam. Off the mark at the fourth attempt in a first-time hood (discarded here) in a 9-runner maiden at Dieppe last summer for H-F. Devin. Changed hands for €13,000 in February and is probably best watched making handicap debut after almost a year off.
Quamby (IRE)
Stepped forward on her handicap bow when third at Lingfield (1¼m) in December and showed plenty to work on after a 5-month break when fourth of 9 at C&D in May. Poorly placed after reverting to her slow-starting ways back at Lingfield 18 days ago, so others are preferred from 2 lb out of weights.
Lady Mariko
Picked up where she left off and proved better than ever after 5 months off when scoring at Kempton (6f) in April and looked back in the groove after a pair of low-key efforts when sixth of 14 at Wetherby (7f) last time. Probably up against it racing from out of the weights in this company, though.
Renesmee
Won at Chelmsford (1m) in March and was a good second of 15 at Chester (1½m) on her penultimate outing. Would've benefited from a stronger pace when mid-field at Goodwood (1½m) last time but she's 4 lb out of the weights down markedly in trip here and surely up against it.
