One-time useful hurdler who's lightly raced of late. Third in minor event at Clonmel 10 days ago. Steps back up in trip but has a bit to prove at present.
Lisnamult Lad (IRE)
Ended 2024/25 with a fine second in the Topham at the Aintree Grand National Meeting. Not in the same form since (broke blood vessel when last seen in May) and needs the return to hurdles and refitting of cheekpieces to work the oracle.
Ballybow (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler at up to 3m but failed to match that level over fences during 2025/26. Ran poorly on return to hurdling in listed handicap at Punchestown in April. May do better down in grade.
Jacovec Cavern
Took advantage of a career-low mark when decisively landing a first hurdle success in a 24-runner handicap at Punchestown in April and backed it up when second at Ballinrobe the following month. One of the likely types on current form.
In Excelsis Deo (FR)
Point winner in May but seemed stretched by the return to 3m under Rules at Listowel 2 weeks ago. Looks vulnerable back over hurdles despite the cheekpieces being back on.
Toll Stone (IRE)
Narrowly beaten at the Galway Festival last summer and shaped with plenty of encouragement when third in a 24-runner handicap on return at Punchestown in April. Looked after once losing pitch at Ballinrobe last month and market may be best guide.
Cobra Queen (IRE)
Opened chase account at the third attempt at Tramore and followed up in handicap at Roscommon last season. Pulled up on return in Mayo National at Ballinrobe 3 weeks ago and has to be worth a market check back hurdling from a lower mark.
Ad Caelum (IRE)
Successful twice in handicap hurdles last year (including over C&D) but found consistency hard to come by sent chasing after. Back to down to last winning mark returned to hurdling.
Rexem (IRE)
Capitalised on a good opportunity to land a Clonmel claiming hurdle in October. Solid efforts in defeat next 3 outings (including over fences) but now has it to prove after a couple of disappointing efforts.
Moonovercloon (IRE)
Twenty three runs since last win in 2023. Failed to hold form over the course of last year after an encouraging start but is potentially very well handicapped now starting out for a new trainer. Has gone well fresh before and interesting in a change of headgear.
St Lawrence's Well (IRE)
Winner in bumper here in September and showed a bit when second on hurdling debut at Cork next time. Subsequently proved expensive to follow and has work to do on handicap debut.
Littlebiggie (IRE)
Latest win in mares maiden chase at Ballinrobe in September. 14/1, pulled up in handicap chase at Thurles (21f, good to soft) when last seen in January. Switches back to hurdles.
Crossing The Bar (IRE)
Latest win in handicap hurdle at Catterick (25f) in January 2025 and still looked fairly treated when creditable fifth in similar event at Fairyhouse (3m, good) when last seen 14 months ago. Goes without the tongue strap and headgear and market best guide on return.
Dorans Law (IRE)
Opened account over fences in a Wexford handicap last summer but has shown little since returning this year. Has the tongue strap refitted now back over hurdles.
