Took a step back in the right direction in first-time cheekpieces when fourth of 14 in handicap hurdle (20/1) at Wexford (3m, good to soft) 19 days ago, though did look somewhat stretched by the trip that time and he might be of greater interest when dropped back in distance.

Hay Baby (IRE)
Point winner who attracted support on occasions last season but did not go on as expected in handicaps. Shaped as if needing the run on return to hurdling at Cork last month and has since left Peter Fahey. Interesting to see her backers return if getting a run. RESERVE.

Inconsistent veteran ended a losing run stretching back over 3 years in 12-runner handicap chase at Downpatrick (3m, good, 18/1) on Saturday. Rare go over hurdles. RESERVE.
